NOTE: This is a review of their device repair services, not their website services of which I am a happy customer. If i could leave two separate reviews I would, instead i have to split the difference and give 2 stars based on what would be a 4 star review for their web services, and a 0 star (if possible) review of their device repair services.
Brought in an iPad for a tiny screen crack, not even on the main part of the screen, just in the screen bezel. Other than that, ipad worked fully. This was a basically brand new iPad, purchased in 2018 (6th generation iPad) with a crack in the corner that impacted nothing.
It took 906Tech 4 months and multiple attempts to fix this and the issues they created along the way
First they repaired it and the home button did not adhere properly so when pressed it slipped under the screen like it wasn't attached to anything, just loose in the iPad. This was pickup attempt #1.
While trying to fix that they damaged the board in the iPad and had to send it off for "micro soldering" repair to another company which took a few weeks. I went to pickup the device and the home button still did not adhere correctly and had the same issue as before, so they had to re-open it to fix it. This was pickup attempt #2
Brought me in to see it and the the iPad wasn't sealed properly, there was a huge gap on one side. This was pickup attempt #3
They repaired that but then the digitizer on the screen didn't work the next time I was brought in to pickup the device and they had to order a new screen and replace it again. This was pickup attempt #4.
Finally, they got everything working and I was able to pick it up months after I dropped it off. Without its original home button however, so now TouchID will never work on this device.
Oh and we have to pay for all of their screw ups along the way, so their original quote to repair the screen for $175 has ballooned to over $300 on a device that costs $459 and was basically brand new, and fully functioning when we brought it into them.
0/10, will not bring them a device again. I'd sooner try doing the repair myself than bring it to them. We can get better faster service directly from Apple and anyone with an Apple device. I'd recommend trying that first, and only use 906Tech as a last resort.
FYI, Best Buy can do Apple repairs now too and they can actually use genuine Apple parts which...

Please allow me to explain why...
After spending over $8,000 on a new business phone system and its installation with 906 Technologies, the lack of customer service has been nothing short of mind-bendingly poor.
One and a half trouble-free years after their installation, one of the business phones became unresponsive (unable to make or receive calls), and we contacted 906 Technologies to make a service call for the repair/reprogramming of the said phone and some additional orientation of how the phone system worked for new/future employees. (It should be noted that Troy, the gentleman who installed our system, was friendly and helpful)
However, instead of happily making an appointment to take our money and satisfy a loyal customer, they proceeded to explain that since we did not purchase a service contract, they would not come to our location without one...ever. Keep in mind that this contract would have cost us an additional $150-$200/month (or and additional $1,800-$2,400 every year!) on a phone system we already paid them over $8,000 for.
I spoke with one of the owners of 906 Technologies, Joe, who listened to my reasoning that we are already customers; customers who need assistance with a product that was both purchased and installed by his company. But instead of offering to assist, he deferred and gave the excuse that he'd need to speak with his business partners about allowing a technician to come to our location without the previously mentioned service contract.
Two weeks later, I have not heard back from Joe or anyone else from 906 Technologies, despite calling him and leaving a message requesting a courtesy call back.
I then contacted the phone system manufacturer and explained my situation. They tried to contact Joe at 906 Technologies. They too did not hear back from them.
Fortunately, the phone system manufacture linked us up with another local, U.P., sales and service provider to assist us (Gotech IT of Norway Michigan), and they gladly assisted us and have earned our business going forward.
As for 906 Technologies? As I started with, unless you enjoy being frustrated with terrible customer service, do yourself a favor and avoid this business at all costs. I...
Read moreI gave them my phone in January due to what I thought was a faulty battery, they said it would be done in 5 days and they would phone me so I could come collect it. 2 weeks go by and no phone call so I phone them and they tell me it's done, so I ask them does it turn on and they reply saying it does. I go collect the phone which is an hour away I take it home and it doesen't turn on. I phone them again saying that it doesen't work so they say I can bring it back in. I soon return the phone and they said there technican will take a look at it and they will phone me back to let me know when it's done. 3 weeks go past and still no call so I phone them and all they said is sorry for the miscommunication your phone is done. I go to collect my phone and I take it out the brown envelope they gave me and the whole front of my phone is destroyed. All the paint under the screen is peeled off, and they have somehow tried to glue it back. So I ask them what have they done to my phone and they said they had to replace the charging port and my phone will look like this. I tell them this is not good enough so they said they will order the replacement parts and will let me know when it's ready. 2 more weeks have gone by and I still haven't heard from them. I want my money back. They also for some reason need my password to replace a battery and the charging port which I did not give them as it was not needed. I would highly recommend not going to this business and I'm very surprised that they still have customers. I also believe that all the 5 star reviews for this...
