I have worked with & been passionate about farmers markets for the past 5 years in Minnesota so any time I can visit a market new to me when traveling to other states I take that opportunity to do so. This market was smack dab in the main drag of Marquette where we were already shopping and dining so it was easy to visit this market. I love that the road is closed down for setting up & operating the market with vendors lining the middle of the road. I was very impressed with how the market was setup as well as the variety of vendors. I noticed a lot of produce, meats, prepared foods, preserved foods and even craft vendors. Small market but has everything you need. Come here to shop for a fresh meal, or purchase a one of a kind bar of soap for gifting! Always fresh coffee, baked goods and produce galore, it may not have the greatest selection of non-essential vendors but there are a few. Being that it is placed nicely in the center of town you can always walk the local shops if you can't find something that's sparks you at the market. Parking has never been a trouble for me, always plenty of close spots but I usually follow the later going crowd around 10-11am so maybe take this with a grain of salt as you may have...
