Yowza Burgers — Restaurant in Martinez

My wife and I took our 10mo son to try Yowza Burger for the first time on a Sunday evening. At this time it’s been open about two weeks and it wasn’t too busy at around 630pm.

We tried the classic burger, Cajun curly fries, wedge salad, empanada, and an Oreo Milkshake

Being as it is the same owner or owners as Mona’s the food tastes and is the same I suspect.

We will definitely be coming back, service was great and location is convenient being in Martinez with limited options.

Empanadas could be heated up a bit longer and the Cajun seasoning of the curly fries is a bit too salty for our liking but these are things that can be tailored in quickly

Grabbed an Oreo milkshake to go and it was very good.

Overall I think this will be a great addition...

Went there on a whim on a Monday, a lot of restaurants in the area seemed to be closed on Mondays. We were blown away! Cajun fries should just be call seasoning salt fries all I taste is straight seasoning salt no hot like Cajun suppose to be. Then chicken not cook enough. I think focus on cooking the chicken correctly in not be heavy hands with the salt I tried all the chicken horrible to much can't ...
