Bartenders here are hit or miss.
You can't order a "tall" mixed drink here (i.e. more mixer in a taller glass), you'll get corrected that it's a "[drink] and [mixer] in a pint glass." I find that confusing, but whatever.
Then if/when you get a different bartender and try to order it the way they want you to order it, they cut you off because they "can't understand what you're ordering." They think you want a "pint" of alcohol. I assume she didn't hear me say "coke" and, like an idiot, thought I was asking for a pint of rum. Then she decided to be coy and rude about it: "you can go down to the store and buy a bottle." I was so incredibly confused, I actually thought she was messing with me. Then I realized she wasn't when she told me to get out.
It all makes me so angry. I've never been to a dive bar that didn't know what "rum and coke, tall" meant. Amateurs and old white women on power trips.

The staff were truly kind, energetic and generous; and even thanked us for coming. They offered a complementary barbecue, Bacardi rum shots and a raffle, where pretty much everyone won something (shirts and hats). There were several large screen TV's, so it was a bit difficult to hear the game, even with max volume. Regardless, we had so much fun watching two closely matched, top notch, competitive teams; along with rowdy songs and cheers from the crowd. It could not have been more perfect (minus the last few seconds of the game). Thank you, Whiskey Lane - you are totally awesome and you made us...

I wanted to make it known that last night I was at Whiskey lane as a designated driver for my wife & sister. Upon walking into the establishment I stumbled a little bit due to a physical disability & temporarily lost my balance. The bouncer approached me & said I had to leave due to being intoxicated. I explained to him that I have not consumed alcohol in over 4yrs & was only there to be a designated driver. I attempted to explain my physical disability with no concern as they continued to intsruct myself to leave the establishment.
Discrimination at its finest 👌
