So this weekend we ordered 3 sandwiches from here. We ordered the same sandwiches we've enjoyed from there before. Got home, my sandwich was completely wrong. I could have eaten it after removing the unwanted items (tomatoes, and even scrape the mustard off), except that they had put their vinegar all over it. So the bread was saturated in it. I attempted to call the establishment at 7:50 PM, 10 minutes before they close, to make them aware. No one would answer the phone. So I called first thing this morning when they opened to make them aware. The person on the phone became rude with me asking me "what do you want me to do about it?" After explaining that I didn't want them being rude to me about the mistake they made, and that I was not able to come up at this moment for another sandwich, as I have plans for the day,he put the magager/owner on the phone. After explaining what happened to him, he then said to me "I make the sandwiches how the ticket comes. How do I know that you didn't order it wrong?" then preceded to hang up on me. I am in shock at how I was treated, when all I wanted was for them to offer to fix the situation in a professional manner. Maybe, "We apologize about that, we could take your name and the next time you come in your food is on us." Something along those lines would have worked. Instead they treated me like I was wrong for saying something about my food being wrong and uneatable. It breaks my heart as well, this was one of our favorite places to eat, and I will never give them my business again, nor will I encourage others to. I would hate for something like this to happen to someone after a referral from me. (I've included an image of my sub. You can see the...

They were closed at 3pm. It would have been nice for them to say they were going to close early on the phone when we called at 2pm.
So we decided to try again. I ordered my food and asked for no mayo or mustard. I asked for honey mustard instead. I get my sandwich and there is mayo and mustard on the sandwich. I take it back and the guy making the sandwich says he made it right and basically I was wrong. I'm pretty sure mayo is white and mustard is yellow and honey mustard is a light yellow and tastes pretty different. But I guess I'm stupid and don't know my colors or what anything looks like.
Anyway, he makes the sandwich and about half way through eating it he asks me if it was different. I told him yes and he begins to say well I made the other one the same way. Afterwards he said next time just eat the sandwich cause this is 8 dollars out of his own pocket. I really wanted to reply with well I wasted 10 dollars in my own gas to come to your sub shop when you said you were open but in fact you were closed but I didn't feel like arguing so I kept my mouth shut.
Needless to say I won't be returning to this place if that jack hole is working. I would have given a 1 star if the sub wasn't decent. The subs are good but they aren't so good that you can be a jerk about making a mistake and not taking responsibility for...
Read moreThe story goes like this… Me: ”Hey Siri, find Aldi’s”. Siri: “Sure, All American Heroes”. Me: “Hey Siri, find A-a-a-l-d-i’s”. Siri: “Ok, directions to All American Heroes”. Me: “What? What is All American Heroes”? Siri: “Make a right turn and your destination is on the right”. Me (confused): “Oh! Wow! It’s a sub shop, Mom”! Mom: “Siri said it twice, must be meant to be. I’m hungry let’s try it”. Me: “Siri knows I’m a foodie, Mom. If Siri says he wants me to go here; I must go. He knows me”. (Laughter)
Enter the sub shop tell them the story of how we found them and walked out with the most DELICIOUS gourmet tuna melt ever! Mom said this was the most beautiful roast beef sandwich she ever had in her life! Zapp’s potato chips and the sides of pasta salad and potato salad. INCREDIBLE! I would give them 100 stars! Staff (Sarah and Caleb) know the ingredients in the subs and the shop is clean from ceiling to floor. Repeat…from ceiling to floor so clean. The owner (Patrick) spoke to us and let us know he has only been in their current location for a little over a year but, he has been in the business for over 23 years. On my first bite, I could taste it! All 23 years of culinary perfection in the sub sandwich biz. As a bonus…the most exquisite and divine “Raspberry Habanero Cheesecake”! Soooo good! I even travelled 10 minutes to another errand before opening my to-go box and my tuna melt was still toasty! They won my heart like the Saints won the Superbowl in 2010! Who Dat!...
