8/7/19 upgrading back to 4 stars. Pick up orders have been more consistently correct. Delivery service has been good. The only lingering issue is they seem to occasionally run out of things that you would not think you should run out of.
3/28/19 I keep using the pick up service despite some challenges. Order accuracy has improved but recently a few visits with delays and perplexingly out of cream cheese tubs the last two times so they have been giving me multiple little single serve cream cheeses. Works ok, but how can a breakfast bakery be out of an item like that for long or frequently? 11/14/18. I continue to go here because the pick up service is so convenient. Order on the app and theoretically just drive over to the store and pick your completed order upboff the shelf and go. Unfortunately, the order is wrong a good 50-60% of the time. I need to do a better job checking it before I go home as it’s especially frustrating when I have to go back. While the errors are generally not in your favor, last week we got an extra sandwich. So there is that 😊
10/18. Lowering to three stars because they can’t seem to keep coffee brewed for breakfast. Very frustrating that on three or four occasions recently the coffee pot for one or sometimes multiple selections have been empty and not rapidly replaced. Sucks when you order a hot breakfast to go and the stand around letting it get cold while waiting for coffee. You would think it would be pretty standard fair at a place that does breakfast to keep the pot full at breakfast time.
Food is pretty good. Love the ability to pre-order and pay in the app and just walk in and grab order of the shelf at the preselected time. App has some oddities to how options are set up and sometimes you have to pay close attention to what you order or dig a bit deeper in the menu. Read moreUnfortunately, It seems the quality of service is diminishing at this establishment. Today, I ordered rapid pick up through the mobile app. After 15 Minutes past the ready time and my food is not at the rapid pick up area (My name was not on the board for preparing or ready) I go to look for my food. I find it on the counter for Dine in pick up, not where it's supposed to be. I ask the lady behind the counter if that was indeed my order, and if it was ready. she said it was. Unfortunately it was not, None of the three drinks I ordered had been made. She tells me "you get your own drinks, cups are up front." I have never had to prepare my own take out order before, this defeated the purpose of me ordering ahead. I ordered 2 lemonades and a sweet tea. As I am preparing my own drinks, I notice there is no sweet tea available. I go back to the same employee and ask where the sweet tea is, since that is what I ordered and paid for. She stated "oh we don't sell sweet tea, we have sugar packets you have to make it yourself." I didn't bother tell her that I have ordered Gallons of both sweet tea and non sweet tea from this restaurant before and never had to sweeten the tea myself. If you only make unsweet tea, why have sweet tea on the menu.
I can only assume the lady I was talking to was the manager on duty as her shirt differed from the other employees. But the sheer laziness to pour drinks or make sweet tea and lack of care for customers is baffling. As someone that has bought $150+ orders from this restaurant for catering work events, this experience has me questioning whether to support this restaurant anymore. Used to love this place,...
Read moreThis Panera has really gone downhill. I had a simple delivery order, always the same thing, it is the pick 2, I always order the same two things. The last 3 times I have ordered either the sandwich is wrong, the soup is wrong or they forgot the bread. Whatever, I let it go, I know things happen and this day and age it is hard to find good help or anyone willing to work. But this was the third time in a row it was wrong, so I called them and asked them to please make it right. She stated she cannot send out the correct soup on delivery because it was ordered through doordash. When I advised her that I ordered through their direct website and I did not choose it to come doordash she apologized and said all she can do is offer me a free soup and pastry and that I can go pick it up. I explained that the reason I ordered delivery is because I do not have time to go pick it up. She said the offer does not expire and I can come get it whenever I would like. Fine, I just simply told her to have a good day, I don't have time to argue or to go pick up food, hence the reason for ordering delivery. I really wish they would bring back their delivery drivers they had and stop feeding them out to doordash! Not that it was the dashers fault the order was wrong, but I never had any issue with an order when they had their own delivery drivers.....I don't want to give them only 1 star, as the food is still good.........Do...
