I recently visited the restaurant over the weekend to pick up a few slices of pizza and had an observation of two young Spanish women biting their nails.
As a concerned patron, I felt compelled to address this issue. It is well-known that staff members engaging in nail-biting behaviors while working in a restaurant poses a legitimate cause for concern. This practice has the potential to introduce harmful bacteria into the food preparation area, compromising the hygiene standards that are crucial for any food service establishment.
Hygiene violations exist to uphold and enforce high standards of cleanliness in food service establishments. It is imperative that employees in such establishments strictly adhere to health codes and standards to prevent any potential contamination of the food being served to customers. The maintenance of proper hygiene practices is not only essential for the health and safety of both customers and employees but also for the reputation and credibility of your restaurant.
Unfortunately, when I attempted to report this issue to the restaurant's management during my visit, I was unable to find anyone available to address my concerns. I believe it is of utmost importance that corrective action be taken swiftly to ensure a safer and more hygienic environment for your customers. This is not just a matter of individual preference but a collective responsibility towards the overall well-being of our community and the preservation of the high-quality service that food establishments like yours to provide.
I hope this restaurant takes this matter seriously and implement necessary measures to ensure that hygiene standards are rigorously maintained by all employees, assuring the continued patronage of concerned customers who value both the food and the safety...
Read moreI HATE writing bad reviews, especially in a pandemic where many small business are trying their best to maintain a semblance of order and real revenue. However, my experience today is really worth 1-2 stars at best. I’m offering 3 stars because Anthony’s was highly recommended and is a local favorite. I realize restaurants have off days, but lots of mistakes can be avoided by proper planning and organization. I ordered through Grubhub originally - I don’t recommend. My order was canceled when I was on the way for pickup because the restaurant never confirmed it on their end. No card issues. Restaurant mistake. I then called in the order while I was on my way because I really wanted this pizza. After picking up my order, I tipped and thanked the employee and left. Upon reaching home, I soon realized that the medium pizza I ordered was undercooked (doughy, saucy, underdone). It just got out the oven at home after I put it in to bake 10 minutes longer... The large pizza I got was better cooked, but the olives had multiple pits in them... the garlic knots were fine. Overall I’m unimpressed. I’ve had Anthony’s before, but this was my first time ordering myself. I’d consider trying again, but I’m not rushing towards the opportunity. Not asking for a refund. Not wanting to inhibit the business. Just be mindful of what you order. Learn from my mistake - call over the phone to place your order and be very explicit about cooking instructions. It might save you an extra trip or...
Read moreWORST SERVICE IVE HAD IN YEARS. My first time in Clarksville I decided to grab a slice of pizza. My experience started off pleasant however the cashier didn’t know the difference between Lump Crab Meat and Blue Crab meat. I decided to get the stuffed salmon as well. I ask for the salmon to be well done. I left the store and returned 20min later. My SALMON WAS NOT READY. At that moment I heard the cashier tell the cook my order. I acted as if I didn’t understand Spanish and proceeded to wait another 20min. At this point I decided to cancel my order because my client was ready to be picked up. I asked to cancel my order the cashier DID NOT APOLOGIZE or show ANY EMPATHY. She walked away from the counter without response. This made me upset because she clearly heard what I said. She returned to the counter and was extremely dismissive telling me it’s almost ready. I EXPLAINED THEY ARE GOING TO MAKE ME LOSE MY JOB. Still NO APOLOGIES SO I ASKED FOR A REFUND AGAIN. And again I was ignored then the cook came up front and said the order was ready. I was disgusted with the customer service so I demanded a refund they refused to give me. 5min of going back and forth I decided to take my order and leave. My pizza was never warmed up they just threw it in the box, it was cold as hell when I...
