Royaltea — Restaurant in Maryland

Finally decided to venture out this way since covid. Took my family here and decided to try their new brown sugar milk. We frequently visit other places in Rockville / Germantown area this brown sugar milk is the best in the area. It appears that this place has changed owner/ management and thier drink are way better than before. Update: Decided to stop by Tiger sugar for the first time ( it was known for its Tiger signature). It felt a water down version of the sugar brown Milk. Don't take my word, be the judge for yourself. Update 07Oct24: Every visit to Royal Tea is like a delightful surprise. The owner is always playfully experimenting with new flavors, making each trip an adventure. My go-to drinks are the Sunset Serenade and the Brown Sugar Milk—though it’s always a tough decision since they keep introducing exciting new options. I came here to get a bubble tea before leaving the Common Kitchen to go with our banh mi and tasty empanadas. I was pretty disappointed with the service and only kinda disappointed in the bubble tea. I ordered the Coffee and Confections novelty tea, it was good, tasted like coffee but very plain to be a novelty tea. I preferred the black sugar milk tea with black boba my boyfriend ordered. The coffee drink was practically the same but more coffee like with ALOT of the jellies rather than the boba. On to the customer service, I would just say they were kind of rude. He did not look interested in taking our order...then once he did for some reason started mopping the floor. Someone else came up and ordered, the girl helped her and made her drink immediately. We ended up waiting another 5 minutes before ours came out. Overall, save your money! There are way better boba tea options out there that won't leave you...

Royal Tea, inside The Common Kitchen, is hands down my favorite bubble tea spot EVER! From the second you walk in, you’re greeted by the friendliest, kindest staff who truly make you feel welcome. They go above and beyond with their warm smiles, helpful recommendations, and lightning-fast service.

And the drinks — WOW. Every single tea I’ve tried here is next-level delicious. The flavors are perfectly balanced, the boba is fresh and chewy, and the presentation is just gorgeous. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic milk tea or one of their fruity specials, you cannot go wrong.
