This location treats essential workers terrible and STEALS their hard earned money!!!!!
UPDATE: Please be cautious of using your bank card with this business and make sure to check your bank statements afterwards. They just called and said they can not find this $30 charge anywhere in their system and corporate could not find it either. They suggested I file a fraudulent charge with my bank in an effort to get my money back. This is very troubling to know that you can use your card with them for one thing and have random, unexplained and unauthorized payments ran by their business. I would steer clear of them!
I've given them plenty of chances before writing this review but unfortunately here we are. My husband is an essential worker. A truck driver to be exact. He's stopped here 3 different times for dinner due to their rib special and late hours. Every time he's ordered the ribs, he's requested no sauce. Each time they have messed it up and he's had to wait over 30 minutes for them to fix it. One time they changed the ribs but left sauce all in his now cold sides. They said they don't have a special dry rub, however the menu says they do but whatever. They gave him a gift card the second time this happened for $25 (to cover the cost of the rib special.) My husband decided to use this gift card on a non special day so the rib meal ended up being slightly more than what the gift card covered by $4. So they took the gift card and asked him to pay the $4 difference. Instead, they double charged him not only the $4 but a second time for the cost of the whole meal. So they took the gift card ($25) the $4 and then charged him another $30. When we caught this on our bank statement we called and went in to get our money back. They said a manager would have to help us and there wasn't one available so someone would call us. They never did. I called again today and spoke to a male manager who said he was fixing it TODAY and would call when it was fixed. (mind you it's March 9th. This happened on the 22nd of FEBRUARY and we've been fighting for our money ever since.) Well it's 10:22 pm now. That was at 1 pm this afternoon. They have no intentions on righting this wrong. So now I plan on contacting corporate and the BBB. Terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE treatment...
Read moreWe come to BJ’s typically for happy hour during the week fairly regularly. They have great specials then. We came on a Sunday today. We expected no happy hour prices and were spot on. We also expected prices to be higher(like all restaurants) and that didn’t fail either. My margarita was tasty. The beer was cold. Both as expected. We ordered nachos ($16)with chicken to snack on with our drinks. We’ve had them before and they were always good. I always need something to nibble on with alcohol. We waited…and waited. Other people around us got their orders. We asked where they were. We waited some more. My margarita was gone. We alerted our server that we thought maybe the kitchen forgot our nachos. She finally was able to leave the bar to go check and came out a few minutes later with them. They had clearly been sitting there the whole time. The scoop of guacamole had darkened and dried on the outside. I had to look at it closer to see what the dark blob was. The sour cream had melted. The little bits of chicken were hard and the chips were now wet & glued together with cheese. The salsa was about a tablespoon’s worth. My thought is -firstly, there was a breakdown in getting the order out quickly. Secondly, when the bartender was finally able to leave her station to check on the order(I am not absolutely sure but I do believe she attempted to get a couple other staff to check for her), and if I saw the order when I picked it up and it looked the way it did-I would have told the kitchen to remake it. Someone had to have seen it sitting there for pick-up for almost 30 minutes. Things happen. It wasn’t worth engaging a manager over nachos and waiting longer. We will return again for happy hour but it’s not the first time there have been food quality inconsistencies. We’ve stopped ordering certain items because of substandard quality so will probably add nachos to our list. I will say the staff are always very nice and the drinks...
Read moreWas excited for this place but it wasn’t anything impressive especially not for the prices. Server was sweet but the atmosphere is not a relaxing one. There’s people moving around constantly but makes sense obviously there’s things that need done it’s a large place. It was clean and other staff besides our sever were also nice. We got an appetizer that was recommended to us and it was the Avocado egg rolls they weren’t bad just was expecting something else it was just a bunch of avocado stuffed in a shell. My boyfriend got his Alfredo with Shrimp 15 minutes before I got my steak and mashed potatoes. No one ever came over to give me any update on my food until 2 minutes before it came out. But it was a steak so it made some sense that it would’ve taken longer. After my boyfriend finished his food mine (his was very good I’m not a big fan of shrimp at all but he got his Alfredo with grilled shrimp and it was delicious and the shrimp tasted very fresh) arrived I tried my mashed potatoes and they were good. I then cut into my steak (most restaurants they have you cut into it to check sure it was cooked the way you wanted, they didn’t. It was dropped off by someone who wasn’t my waitress no big deal just something to note) it was more cooked than I preferred. But I ate some of it anyway and it was so dry. I kept waiting for our server or whoever to ask how it was so I could tell them it was dry but no one ever asked how my food was. Instead they’re worried about you signing up for their point system. I cut through other parts of my steak and some parts were closer to how wanted (still too dry) while other were way too done and even more dry. It was disappointing. I even expected as we were leaving for someone or the manager upfront to ask about our food or service or say bye or something but no one did. I would say I’d try it again but I was just left so underwhelmed. Would rather spend my money at Chili’s...
