I like the food. We eat out about 5 nights a week and did go to Bob Evans frequently since my granddaughters like the food even though the service has gotten progressively worse. On Sunday July 26th 4 of us, granddaughters included went in for Dinner. The man seating us took us to a dirty booth even though there were at least 8 clean booths in different areas. He then got a soaking wet cloth and wiped off the table throwing the food on the seat and missing a lot of food. When I said something about the food on the seat and end of the table he wiped the seat and left it and the table WET. I asked for a cloth to dry the table and seat and he went and got a handful of napkins and wiped part of the table. After he finished and started to leave I took the left over napkins and wiped the table and seats so we could sit down. We ordered simple chicken tenders and meatloaf. The resturant was not at all busy. We waited 25 minutes for food. Were not asked if we wanted refills on drinks or was everything ok. When we left to pay the man that sat us was standing behind the front counter around the side a little and did not come out to get our check nor acknowledge that we were waiting for quite some time. We will not be returning. There are to many places to eat that care for their customers and care about the service...
Read moreSay it ain't so Bob Evans! What happened? My family wanted to have Easter brunch and we chose your establishment because of the fine food and excellent hospitality. It's been awhile since we visited you but I missed and remembered your good food! We didn't mind waiting for a table but on that day the place was empty, run down and depressing. We ordered our food and I ordered turkey, stuffing and ham over mash potatoes with glazed carrots, my wife ordered a breakfast bowl and my daughter ordered hot cakes. Home fries were served. I was not only shocked and disappointed concerning my less than piping hot meal but the glazed carrots were boiled carrots w no sauce coating, everything except my coffee was barely hot, home fries were not golden brown. Side of bacon wasnt thick or crispy nor sweet ( sweet sauce had no semblance of honey flavor) layer on parchment paper. Ham was like it was cooked earlier and just laying around, stuffing seemed like it was sitting in a supposedly warming pot and turkey slices tasted frozen like! It was horrible! Shame on Corporate Bob Evans, how could you allow a branded Old Fashion Breakfast establishment fall apart? Where's the quality control? I will NEVER visit Bob Evans again! On a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being excellent, I...
Read moreThis place has a good breakfast, but as for dinner that we had is far below par. I ordered Taste the Farm Trio, the stuffing was gooey and liquidity. The ham had an off taste, the pot roast tasted like it was from a can. The food is sooo far from a home cooked meal, it's more of a TV dinner gone bad. There was 2 tables that was dirty and dishes left there from previous customers and it stayed there the whole time we was there. Not sure how it could stay like that when a manager should be checking his restaurant but what do I know. When we arrived there was like 4 tables with people at them so being busy isn'tan excuse for any of this. The waitress that was servicing us is in need of training. We ordered our food, she brings us our rolls that were fresh out of a bag, not warm just room temperature. Our orders was supposed to come with cranberry sauce, when our food arrived there wasn't any. My wife asked for it after the waitress dropped the food off then returned later. The waitress in return stated oh we are out of it that's why there isn't any. Why couldn't or didn't say something when we ordered or she brought us our food. We will not be returning for dinner again, we may return for breakfast but...
