Regrets..not what I expected at all. I probably should’ve just ordered one instead of six. Customer service and ambiance great—I’d give it a 5! But what I accounted for in my overall average rating is the terrible mochi donuts (0+5=5/5=1). I dreaded writing this but felt this deserved complete transparency and honesty. Donuts tasted 4-5 days old. No “fluff” or “chewiness”. It tasted oily, no flavor and just stale. No flavor at all. The frosting made store bought frosting seem like homemade royalty. Listen—I’m no “expert” but this level of Mochi was just plain sad I could’ve cried it was damn near criminal. I was born and raised in HI where we eat mochi on a daily basis as a snack. Go Longs and buy Mochi or go local bakery get mochi. This was a poor version of donut mochi. And I had SIX different Mochi donuts to try from. ALL—terrible. So sad because I really wanted to love them. There’s another local Mochi Donut spot and they consistently make great tasting FRESH donuts. I don’t know what happened today. I’ll def try again with the hopes to update my rating but todays overall experience was a no go. I spent $23 only for it to go straight in the trash.

I don’t live in the area and was looking for a bakery to deliver a treat to a dear friend’s daughter for her birthday. Upon Google searching, I found Mochi Mochi. Their website said that they don’t deliver but I called just to see if there was a chance. Jen answered the phone and she couldn’t be any nicer. I explained my situation and, rather than just telling me they don’t deliver, she happily told me she would check with management and call me back. Not even 5 minutes later I received a call from Aidan, who was more than happy to accommodate. As you can see, from the picture, they even were nice enough to add a personalized message and a flower! They sent me this picture, before delivering, to make sure that I liked the way it looked. Thank you, Jen and Aidan, for your customer service and kindness. I am truly blown away!

I am so glad that Mochi Mochi is a new addition to The Common Kitchen. Crispy on the outside with a scrumptious chewiness on the inside unlike cake and yeast donuts - mochi donuts are definitely a novelty treat! I tried the matcha and ube-bae (witty name :D) flavors and both were delish. The icing and toppings were not too sweet and added to the overall unique texture. At $3 a pop, these are a bit pricey, but they do offer buy 5, get 1 free. Definitely recommend trying these, even if it is just to satisfy your curiosity!

Pure yumminess!!

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile. This day was the day.

They're located in a marketplace which makes it super convenient to visit.

The lady that assisted me was sweet and kind. The donuts were so creative and pretty. I inquired if they all contained dairy and yup, they do.

I was a little disappointed but took one for the team and ordered a Churro Donut. Ate half. OH MY GEE !!! It was so freaking good. So fresh and yum!!

I would def order again but not order more than one due to the dairy reaction.

I highly suggest they introduce 1-2 dairy free Donuts to their collection daily. It's the right thing to do !!

Welp,...
