I almost never, never, never go to the drive thru window. I pull up, and a FedEx truck is blocking the parking lot entrance. I'm immediately behind the drive thru lane/car. The line advanced forward, the truck is still in the way, another two cars wait behind me--oh well, drive thru it is!
I place my order--"#5, NO CATSUP, MUSTARD, OR SPECIAL SAUCES, add lettuce, tomato, and onion (LTO)"
The young lady repeats my order and states I want it "DRY; NO CATSUP, MUSTARD, NOR SAUCE."
I pulled forward and paid $15.84 for a #5 with a large soda. $15.84 at a fast food burger "dive". That's ridiculous, but I was returning from the doctor's after a fast blood draw.
Pulled forward again, collected my meal, then pulled out of the way to check my sandwich. Big heaping mounds of sauce!!!
I park, go inside for an exchange, and the counter manager states the burger has LTO--"do I have a receipt?" Politely I replied, "YES, ON THE SEAT OF MY CAR!" She has a conversation with the burger person and informs me "it will be a few minuets".
I get my new sandwich, check it at the counter--NO SAUCES, LTO ADDED, and leave.
I haven't eaten catsup, mustard, special sauce, nor creamy salad dressings--French, Ranch, Thousand Island, etc. my entire life. I learned when I began driving not to use drive thru--the workers unintentionally, out of constant habit, spread the sauce. I travel with family and friends, and they ask--"why we have to go inside?" No one was with me, but THAT'S WHY!
The meal/burger was "Burger King" good. The struggle for "have it my way" was a challenge and time consuming. In the future when delivery trucks block the entrance, I won't stop...to the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBest food as always when it comes to Burger King. They provide high-quality food with minimal errors. I always choose Burger King over other fast food restaurants because it's personally my favorite restaurant to eat at and because the food is prepared in less than 3 minutes. Another thing to mention is that I was able to receive sauces without bothering to ask for it. Other restaurants such as McDonalds make it so customers have to ask for specific sauces, whereas for Burger King, I didn't even have to really think about it as much. The meal that I got is in the picture below was around $13 total and I can definitely say that it was worth it. (I used a coupon for my order as a side note). Three Cheeseburgers, Whoppers, and Medium Fries for a price like this is awesome, especially when it's done right to my liking. Even if the meal doesn't come with a drink, I always had the opportunity to order that separately. Besides that, my experience at every Burger King that I've ate at has been wonderful and I really can't say much more but for Burger King to keep up with the exceptional...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am not usually critical, and I admit that I should offer praise more often when it is due. This time I won't regret criticizing this Burger King, and the Burger King app. This is the fourth time I have ordered via BK app and it was definitely the last time. I checked and double-checked before placing my order for my grandkids once again. Not ONE of the four burger meals I ordered were correct. Not even close. They also now make you come inside to pick up your order, and they do not start the food until you show up and ask for it like a delivery driver. They also OBVIOUSLY did not READ the order printout, because they gave me ALL standard burgers, without any customizations. Imagine the disappointment...once more...for my grandkids. The app also offers Kids meals with toy...but no options for a healthy drink like milk or juice. It's impossible to order ahead for a decent drink that is not soda-based. I have always liked BK burgers, and wish this were not the case....but I'm done with trying and extending the benefit of the doubt with grace. There is now NO doubt. Sorry BK. Hard to have...
