Caddies — Restaurant in Maryland

I been to this location twice and had the same servicer everytime. Constantly checking on us every second and fast paced.TODAY, 05/15/24@9pm we had reservations, sat down ordered & didn’t get our for til 10 something, I ordered nachos and when it came out it was super had, all stuck together & stuck to the paper I couldn’t pick it up at all. We also ordered buffalo wings with fries … wings and out dry afffff& never got the fries but didn’t say none then & there because we thought it was still being made .. anyways, I Took the nachos back for a replacement, replacement came out 30-45 min later FOR NACHOS !!!!!!!! I’m the meantime , the fries never came out .. is almost11pm so o told the manager & all he did was walk to the back & walk past us saying “gave y’all a discount, y’all bill coming “ like boy what ??! … anywho .. we waited like 20 more min & by the time we decided to let them know we leaving the man comes out with the nachos -_- I said I don’t want them .. he comes back with a bill for the 2 lemon drops we BEEN BEEN ordered, wings and fries , so we like we never even got our fries .. so he goes back to take it off & we paid for 2 drinks & wings … sad !!! … then our friend comes to us & she saw the manager walk past so she’s telling the manager can she get 2 drinks to buy us & gets an attitude and says “no”!!!!!… his is so rude !!! Barely cares. like how you gonna tell us NO, the whole experience was just horrible …TERRIBLE & I feel played with & disrespected #10000000 still made us pay so now im searching for headquarters number! I will never go to this slow , rude/ careless...

Edit: changing to a one-star. It has been a few hours since I left the restaurant and I feel disgusting and a little bit sick.

We purchased an order of waffle fries and 8 mozzarella sticks to start (didn't realize it was 12 dollars...). The waffle fries and mozzarella sticks were mediocre. The waffle fries were poorly cut in the basket, with half the fries that came out as "crumbs" and were extremely salty. The centers of the mozzarella got cold fairly quickly, suggesting that they weren't fried for long enough to get that "stringy" effect in your first bite.

Next, we ordered entrées. I substituted my fries for mac n' cheese. The side of mac was the most disappointing creation of macaroni I have ever had. I've never had such dry, soft, box Kraft macaroni before. Protip: if you can't make an edible product on your menu, DO NOT OFFER IT TO YOUR CUSTOMERS! Or tell them "this is actually disgusting, and it's for kids. It's just boxed macaroni with silica dioxide powder and cardboard. We don't make real macaroni and cheese here."

Finally, the "2019 Bethesda Magazine's Best Burger" made it to the top two on "Vasili's Worst Burger Ever Eaten" list. The burger was dry; so dry that I had to drink so much water to offset the dryness. The burger had little flavor to it and I just felt so frustrated that I spent 15 dollars on something that tasted awful.

After tip, we spent 30 dollars per person (water for drinks). I will credit the server for being kind, and I have no ill will toward her.

I'm just honestly surprised this place isn't rocking a 2 star or lower rating. But it is...

Normally we order the pan pizza from Caddies, which is EXCELLENT, by the way!!! The pizza has deep crust and we get the pepperoni and sausage.

Yesterday, we stopped by to watch some football and have a few beers. This is a great place to go and watch football, as there are a lot of TVs and out door seating where you can also see the games.

We decided to order food and being picky, I wasn’t sure if the “bar food” would be any good. To my surprise the food was on point!!!!!

We ordered chicken wings (which I rarely eat) 5 Asian Chili and 5 old bay. The old day winds were a bit to salty because I don’t eat a lot of salt, so heads up or ask for less old bay.

We also got the chicken tenders which didn’t disappoint. They were handmade not pressed and juicy. Along with 2 side Caesar salads and some burger sliders.

The icing on the cake was the presentation. The food came on nice plates that look like real plates. I highly recommend, for football watching or stopping in for dinner.
