So I love Crumbl It's like one of my favorite dessert places however this crumble is consistent and having you wait for your cookies for at least 20 to 30 minutes. I'm not sure if it's the workers I honestly think that they are understaffed and that's one of the issues every other crumble I go into it usually has between 4 to 5 workers and this one always has like 3. For one you can tell that they are working hard but that there's just not enough of them and they always seem extremely stressed out which I get because there's not enough workers and there's a million people in the store like today the board literally had no room on it and the store was so full of people waiting for their cookies that you couldn't even barely fit in there anymore. Then they told me the cake wasn't ready okay got you how much longer realistically am I going to have to wait and they did actually give it to me in 5 minutes but that was after I had already left went and got my other food and came back so a total of waiting like a half an hour for three cakes and one cookie which is insane to me. I've had a couple other problems at the scramble the manager is usually pretty good about reaching out and fixing them however they need him to hire more people. You should never be waiting more than 5 minutes I've never been to another crumble where I waited more than 5 minutes I mean the cookies are already supposed to be made like I'm not sure what the problem is. There's usually stuff all over the floor you know You can tell that they're running around scrambling don't have time to clean because again there's not enough workers and when there's not enough workers it means that they can't produce the amount of things that they need to produce so it makes me not want to even go to this crumble I literally will go out of my way to try to avoid coming to this crumble It's very frustrating because it's the closest one to me and the other one is like a half an hour away and I've literally gone that half an hour to not have to deal with this crumble They're also one of the only crumbles that's consistently out of cookies and cakes like the one in Towson always has everything now I know Owings Mills is busy I get it but like this is just crazy. Please hire more workers I don't care if you need to have six people in there because all you're doing is hurting your business and your making your customers sit for long periods of time when they have other things to do like I've literally been late to work more times than I can count because of this Crumbl. And it sucks because I order it before I get there so it will already be ready when I get there and it just never happens I mean when I pulled up there today there was probably 30 people in that store. Please do better Not only for your customers but because your employees shouldn't be under that much stress because they are bearing the load of being...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm not sure where to start. This location is small it was crowded. The ordering and the pickup is all mixed in. I gave this two stars simply because it is a cookie. So one star for that and then the other star simply to give it a rating. But it's amazing what hype can do for a company. I'm not really sure what the big deal is. Their marketing team should get a few Stars . The box is trendy it's a cute little pink box. It's no different than going to Tiffany's and you get the little blue box. My coworker raved about this place which is the only reason I went. When you love desserts like I do, then I expected to be amazed, And I wasn't. Honestly I've had cookies far better from other specialty shops. And then the last thing I'll say is when I receive the cookie the girl who called my order she must speak like she's in the library bcuz I didn't hear her. So about 12 minutes later they finally gave me my cookie bcuz I'm still standing around. It was luke warm, I took a bite. But as you can see it's back in the oven so that all the ingredients can cook like a real cookie should be. If you want something trendy to do then stop by this place otherwise keep going. The next $5 I spend on the cookie will be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI think if you're going to have an open space where customers can see food preparation, at least be sure the employees maintain proper hygiene. I stood waiting for my order and noticed all employees had gloves, aprons, etc.
Though there was one in particular I had seen who was packing the cookie orders, making final touches and handing them off to customers. Between orders, I saw that person rub his fingertips on the front counter by the pay station, scratch his nose and pat his clothes, all with his gloves on. And with the same gloves (because he didn't change them out) he proceeded to package cookies and reach into containers of toppings to sprinkle onto cookies.
Granted, things like this probably happen more often behind closed doors, and people eat the food as if someone didnt just scratch their hair and touch food right after. But nothing like this should happen at all. It's how germs and sicknesses spread, and what good is having gloves as a preventative if they're not going to be used properly? Please stress the importance of hygiene if you're going to have every customer see the process of their cookies being made right in front...
