Today was the worst customer service I've experienced in my life! I've been to this place on a couple of occasions and the staff was generally friendly, usually service is great. This evening when I came in after ordering my drink and sitting down to eat, not more than 10-15 minutes of sitting down, this older lady staff member comes over and asks me to "Move out of my seat and move to another seat because she was going on her break."
She then proceeded to tell me that her "water bottle was sitting there and this is where she was gonna sit for her break." She then tells me "You've been here for 3 hours, you need to move and give me this seat." I said, "I haven't even been here an hour. I'm quite comfortable where I am. Is this how you treat your customers?" She then goes, "Oh you can sit there." She was really rude, didn't offer an apology or anything.
Regardless of the amount of time I had been there I couldn't believe that an employee would put themselves before a customer and literally was trying to push me out of the seat I had just taken. I actually left a tip for the counter before all this transpired and I thought to myself, "She certainly doesn't deserve a tip." I'm still hurt and in shock that this all happened and this employee felt it was okay to treat a customer this way.
I don't know if she's the owner's Mom helping out, or the grandmother, but she did NOT make me feel welcome at all. I've worked in food service and I would never treat a customer that way! In fact, we put the customer before ourselves! If the customer wanted the last Zucchini Nut Muffin the customer got it, not the employees! She was so RUDE! And totally content to just leave it at that! Not even an APOLOGY! The Audacity! I was very hurt and just utterly disgusted at the way I was treated! A customer should never have an employee ask them to "move to another seat because they are going...
Read moreLast 3 orders have been incorrect. A single donut has been forgotten last 2 orders. I immediately call store when my husband brings home the bag and I realize items missing. Phone number to store isn't in service,or no one answers and mailbox is full so can not leave a message.
Today our order is again incorrect. I ordered 2 Everything bagels and receive I Everything bagel and 1 plain bagel. I call the store. First a man answers and just responds with "OK" and hangs up phone when I state this is the 3rd time our order is incorrect. I call back,a woman answers phone. She responds with "Sorry,OK" when I explain this is the 3rd order in a row incorrect. I replied "No,it isn't OK". She then hangs up the phone. I call back and no one answers the phone...again mailbox is full and can not leave a message.
Also incorrect with today's order is the croissant is burnt and loaded with greasy butter which I can not consume that much butter due to stomach surgery. The butter packets were to be put in the bag,not put on the croissant. Same thing with the English muffin. The receipt clearly shows I ordered butter packets on the side. So, I could not eat my breakfast.
We are out money for 2 doughnuts,1 bagel,1 English muffin and 1 croissant.
The aggravation and disappointment is far more upsetting than loss of money. As well as the uncaring, unresponsive attitude of the owners is extremely aggravating. I do not appreciate being hung up on twice. I live in the neighborhood of this Dunkin Doughnuts and have visited often over the last 20 yrs. I will no longer visit this neighborhood Dunkin and I will tell every neighbor to...
Read moreI came here after going to different Dunkin Donuts stores and expected the same quality of food and service, but didn't receive it. I ordered a small blueberry latte, and an assorted box of 25 munchkins. I got my order and left. After I had driven some distance I tried the latte, which wasn't tasty or sweet enough. Then I opened the munchkins. There were 20 of the nasty chocolate and only 5 glazed.
I went back and they pretty much told me that I asked for assorted and they gave me what they had. Then they just kinda stared at me and waited for me to leave. It seemed to me that if your selection sucked that you'd ask the customer if they wanted something else or made sure that what you were about to serve was cool. Anyway, I thought it more prudent to simply never come here again rather than cause a scene over $5 worth of donuts.
I hope this location closes or that the management changes. I later went to another location and relayed this story. The Belts ville location let me try a chocolate munchkin for free and it was good. The cashier told me that the other ones were probably not good because stores that don't get a lot of traffic sometimes serves days old donuts. Boo on the Frederick...
