I just went to this location to try out as it was close to my flight terminal. There was a seat in the back that looked comfortable so I went and sat down. I sat there for awhile and no one assisted me. No complaints I just continued to wait. Eventually 30-40 mins later, what I assume is a waitress named "Kacey" walked over with an attitude and rudely told me nobody helped you because this was blocked off and if you want to be served you need to either move or that I can leave. I never said anything nor complained. I advised her the area was not blocked off when I came so I was not aware they werent serving the back. Again, with the nastiest attitude she tells me yes it was because she blocked it with a chair. Which again it was not blocked. So she states well yes it was so if you want to be served you need to move or you can leave. I've never been to Maryland so idk what "her" personal issue was with me. But, I won't be returning. She left a horrible taste in my mouth and I suggest other people not come here unless you are okay with employees like Kacey talking to and treating you like complete trash. Honestly, she should be fired. I dont think a coaching is going to fix the problem. She seems like she just has a ugly heart/soul for no reason. Basically said I can get out when I hadn't said anything just sat down. We dont act that way in Texas. Thank God for going back home where everyone is treated nicely. It could be asked simple as, im sorry I didn't see you back here. This area is closed you are welcome to move to an opened area and I can serve you. Simple.. instead I was treated like shit just for sitting down in an area that was not blocked but she felt i "unblocked it" myself....
Read moreI opted to stop here for dinner while waiting for my connecting flight - first time. Last time. It was a busy day at BWI and the restaurant was busy, but there were multiple tables empty and instructions to seat yourself. I had about 90 minutes to play with. I sat for about 10 minutes, until the person who seated themselves next to me asked after about another 5 minutes if I had been tended to, I had not. She got up and walked over to a waitress and placed here order and kindly commented that I was waiting for service as well. The waitstaff advised me my server would be over shortly. When she arrived I placed an order for a cocktail, a burger/fries and some water and asked them to give me the check when they brought the food to expedite thing along, as they were clearly running slow, for whatever reason. After about 15 minutes, I received my VERY watered down cocktail, and my water. The person next to me received her food shortly after. I waited an extra 15 minutes after her (so, we're going on 40+ minutes since ordering), at which point, I got up, asked to pay for my drink, and cancel my food. Waitress didn't bat an eyelash. I got food elsewhere without any issue and won't be going here again. I travel often through BWI and there are other options. I would not recommend this...
Read moreVery sorry excuse for a restaurant, waited around 15 mins for service, I had to flag a waitress down.
Drink took forever to arrive, half finished my drink before being asked to order food.
Receiving said food order (chicken wings and chicken tenders ((carnivore diet 😅))) took at least 40 mins, for the first dish, and a further 15 minutes for the second dish.
The wings... were the sorriest excuse for wings that I've ever had the pleasure of laying eyes on... I've seen more meat on a garden pea...
The chicken tenders were acceptable for what they were.
The staff (other than one gentleman named Miles) had about as much cheer and enthusiasm as a graveyard...
The best thing about this restaurant is the music... oh and they actually have Malt Vinegar, which was nice to see...
Ironically the Firkin & Flyer was a Firkin joke and the only flying was customers winging it to eat at Macdonald's... the whole meal took longer than my planned flight!
Very very unsatisfying and not worth the cost at all... Avoid this place like the plague and save your money. I'm off to line up at...
