Jamba — Restaurant in Maryland

Wanted a small orange smoothie and peach berry blast. Was told rather abruptly that they didn't have the peach blast . Asked to change the small orange smoothie to a medium. Almost got charged for two smoothies, corrected the mistake to the obvious annoyance of the person behind the counter. Our order was brought out and we were given two drinks, I double checked that we were expected to take both drinks. As I was walking away with both the rude person who took our order stopped us and took back one of the drinks. All of these encounters were done in a rude manner. People make mistakes a little good humor would go a long way to making this whole encounter better.

On top of all that the smoothie has a gross chalky flavor and we couldn't finish it. Threw it away and the whole encounter from bad attitude to gross smoothie really doesn't make me want to try a Jamba Juice again. They have a prime spot but are wasting it on bad service and (I hope) poorly trained staff. Not keen to test the staff training theory at...

Ordered a large smoothie and confirmed the size with the cashier (well mannered smaller framed girl). Another worker came back from her break to finish making the smoothie (she looked like she wasn’t up to health code standards either, extremely long nails, mask not covering her nose despite making food in a very crowded place). She poured it into a medium cup, leaving a significant amount in the blender. When I mentioned I ordered a large, instead of trying to understand the situation that she literally just walked into, she got a really bad attitude and started arguing with me and we had a bit of back and forth before she talked to the other girl. The blender clearly had a lot more smoothie in it that was meant for me, and she was about to throw it away anyways, clearly not caring about the situation. The first girl was okay, but the second girl needs to seriously mature before she should consider working ANYWHERE. The worst place in the airport to work at. The turnover rate is Horrible. I did have an encounter with one of the managers and he was very pleasant to talk to. Managers have loud inappropriate conversations with employees about being part time strippers, U can find management spying on the employess THEY hired, the GM likes to show videos to her employees of her twerking and everyone has seen them, I thought that was very weird and imature for a GM of any business, The freezer that the fruit and sherberts are in is in is Always a mess n alergy hazard, if u come in the a.m. the employees in the back arent very friendly, manager never smiled and seemed very annoyed with being there. You never see the same people and everyone seems stressed and miserable except the ones in black shirts. I travel alot and also had conversations with airport staff who have the same views.
