Had the absolute rudest bartender! He is someone that should never be in customer service! We tried to engage with him multiple times to no avail. Told us a drink wasn’t available when another female bartender was making them on the other side! It was clear he just didn’t want to make it. Then a gentleman came to the counter to order and was ignored for while, when he tried to get his attention and the bartender yelled at him and said “I can hear you!” extremely loud. Oof! Sir you clearly need a new job! After the one round of drinks we quickly left! Not the way we wanted to start our vacation.

I had...several hours before my flight. I walked all the way down to this place because it looked like the most inviting bar. Not inside a restaurant. I did not come here for food, I came for a beer. It delivered. It was exactly what I needed in the middle of a long travel day. I haven't even left and I'm leaving a review. These guys hustle. A bar this big can't be an easy thing to run. I'm also an easy customer. I just wanna sit and drink beer. It's worth the walk.

Great place to sit and have a quick bite to eat and an adult beverage prior to heading to the gate to board. Located on the "A" concourse near A11, they have TV's so you don't have to miss the game while commuting and helps pass the time away. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have the best experience while traveling. The atmosphere is excellent, I met some really nice people with things in common. I had a good experience and you will too!

Found a cool spot at the end of the A concourse when early for a flight. Sat down and placed an order. I’d tell you the bar tender’s name but she didn’t greet anyone with it. No, smile, no name, no suggestive selling. Cold as ice. She did pay attention to her phone 🤷🏻‍♂️ Identifiable only by a 10mm mole over the left maxilla. Later found out her name is Amy.

I ordered a Makers Old Fashion, which came in a topped off short glass with a 2 part pour, a standard maraschino Cherry, a half orange wheel, and standard ice cubes. When delivered, she tapped the computer and stated “double makers…,” to which I playfully replied “a double!” “Yeah, you ordered an old fashion, don’t you know what you ordered” with no playful or warm follow up. Anytime I asked about food or whiskey, I was met with a curt reply.

I’m from the South, and Amy I grew up in the service industry, too. You’d do well to greet people with a smile, at least. If you were a professional, you’d remember names, not seat numbers. I was 45, for your reference.

You aren’t good enough to be a snot to guests, Amy. Maybe if your Old Fashion featured gourmet ice or full ice balls and Luxardo cherries…but they didn’t. Lay off the cocaine, and try being nice to people, Amy. She also spoke in a disparaging way about other guests when they left.

The shrimp cocktail was ok but not what we make in...

I had a disappointing experience at R&R Seafood Bar in BWI Airport. My flight was delayed, so I decided to sit at the bar to pass some time. There were about 25–30 stools, and only one other person was seated — the rest were completely empty.

The bartender came by and said “Good morning,” which I returned. She mentioned they had just opened, handed out menus to the empty seats, and asked if I wanted a beer or drink. I politely said, “No thank you.” She immediately replied, “Well, you’ll have to order something if you want to sit here.”

I could understand enforcing that policy if the bar was crowded or busy, but it was basically empty

If she had said something like,

“You’re welcome to hang out, but just a heads-up, if it starts getting busy we may need the seats for customers ordering food or drinks,” — it would’ve come across much more professional and respectful.

The lady had a ponytail with curly hair...

Joined my colleagues at the bar to sit and chat while we waited for our flight. Went ahead and plugged my headphones into an outlet so they could be charged for my flight. Waitress took an immediate turn towards me told me I had to order something or else I can’t sit there. The entire bar was empty excluding 5 patrons out of the 20-25 seats. I questioned it and she told me that’s the rules. Why is there an issue with someone sitting down and socializing at a bar that has so many empty seats and no one around? Didn’t even bother trying the food or drinks, if you can’t be a decent human being and allow people to just sit for a moment, you shouldn’t be in a...
