Came in on 8.31 at 10.24am and already they sold out of the Harry Potter doughnuts. But my review isnât that the doughnuts were unavailable, it was how rude and condescending the lady who was taking orders was.
I walked in and they couldnât care less that a customer was there. I was confused cause there was no one at the register but the other side said mobile orders so when I was standing there waiting she looks at me with a crooked eye so I asked should I order from you or is there someone coming to the register. Instead of politely saying I could order from her she just kind of grunts and waves her hands. So I go to the mobile side and ask for two sorting hat doughnuts and one of each of the Harry Potter doughnuts. She rudely says read the sign which was a small 12x9 inch black and white paper at the end of the register side which I didnât see because she told me to to come to the mobile side.
I was so taken aback by the attitude from the get go and when she told me to read the sign instead of just politely saying sorry weâre out of this or that I was even more confused why I was being treated that way. Whatâs even worse is that while she was getting the doughnuts she was mumbling under her breath how people donât know how to read and thatâs why the sign is there.
I just wanted to surprised my kids with their favorite doughnuts and was completely treated like an idiot. Never will I come to this Kristy Kreme or honestly another ever again. The lady should be fired without question as the attitude and condescending nature was so extreme and unnecessary over doughnuts. I didnât do anything to...
Read moreThe young lady working at this location with braids a glasses this morning was rude and unprofessional. I expected better treatment in this area (Owings Mills), but I learned otherwise this morning. The young lady looked me in my eyes multiple times while she stood at the counter drinking something and carrying on a conversation. She finally decides to address me and ask if I wanted to order. I told her yes, and she said she would be right with me. This young lady then goes to the drive thru station and take/make orders. I decided to place a mobile order then since it Cleary was too much effort for her to take my order. After she looks at the screen to see the order, she comes from behind the counter and is about to head out the door. I ask her if she saw my mobile order and if someone else was making it since she clearly wasn't. She then gives me attitude and claims she had no idea of the order. She continues to address me and ask why I was asking her when there are other people here. I told her that she is the one who looked me in my face and asked me if I wanted to order, then never came to take my order. This young lady then goes behind the counter and places donuts in the box, says nothing else to me, sits the box on a counter, and walks towards the door to leave out. This young lady was not wearing a name tag and with piss poor service and a nasty attitude like that, I can understand why. If I treated customers the way she treated me this morning I would be too embarrassed to display...
Read moreMy 3 year old daughter and I got in line at 6 this morning. We were told that we had to be inside the door by 7 to be able to get the BOGO dozen. There were literally 3 people in front of us at 7 when the manager (I think) handed a hat to a woman who was standing in the doorway. Looking through the window, we could see people inside standing with about a foot wide gaps in between them. Had one of the 20 people working and walking up and down the lines had kindly asked people to move up so that more people could get in, about 10 more people couldâve made it in side by 7. Thatâs the first thing. Secondly, when we finally did make it inside about 5 after, the line pretty much stopped. I work late one Tuesday every quarter and today just so happened to be that day, so I was excited to make the opening. But that line, and the pace at which it moved after 7 was ridiculous. We only made it a few feet from the door by the time we left at 745, after my phone fell and the screen completely shattered at about 740. I was over the entire experience at that point. Not to mention, yâall dont even have the apple filled donut. WHAAAAT?!?
I was soooo excited for the reopening (I remember when the old store was there several years ago), but this experience definitely put a bad taste in my mouth. I donât eat a lot of sweets, but I LOOOOOVE donuts. So needless to say I left extremely...
