I’ve eaten here twice, when the neighboring Nalley Fresh had a long line that made me not want to wait. Since Poke Bowl serves raw fish, prices are unsurprisingly on the higher end.

Most recently, the Asian lady made my order, and she had a really foul attitude. I think all she needs to do is soften her approach. She kept saying What Do You Want? in an aggressive tone. When I said that I wanted a burrito with mixed greens, she demanded what kind of rice I wanted, because I didn’t know you had to add rice to it. Later, I asked for the ginger sauce, and she corrected me by saying that I wanted the ginger Hawaii sauce. Clearly, she doesn’t like shorthand speak, which I tend to favor because who has time to say all the words. At the end, she did offer me a cup of water, which was nice. Next time, if I do come back, I’ll have to make sure it’s someone else who will be making my food. The other workers here are cheerful...

I have been coming to Poke Bowl since they opened in Foundry Row. Today, as I was about to pay for my order I realized there was a price discrepancy. The price listed on the menu did not match the price listed on the register. When I inquired about the discrepancy, the employee told me he's asked management to change the price but won't. I understand price changes however, the menu should reflect the price change. This is solely about principle. When I asked about honoring the menu price that is listed he told me no it wouldn't be honored. I asked him to contact his manager, he again told me no. So I asked him plain and simple, "do you not care enough about your customers to contact your manager to ask about honoring the menu price?" The employee replied "No". Poke Bowl has definitely lost a customer in me, and I will be sure to let everyone that I know, not to patronize...

Whenever I want great poke, I go here. I absolutely love the poke bowls! On today’s visit I received amazing service from Qiao Zhi Jiang! He was awesome and he already knew how I liked my sauce based on him paying attention to my order on prior visits. That was such a nice touch! In the past Dylan would always ensure that my bowls were made just the way I liked them. I’m excited to know that now I can expect great service from Qiao Zhi Jiang! Thank you so much for caring to make your customers happy. Kudos to Qiao Zhi Jiang!!
