Go depending on what you want and when you go (we went on Saturday at 5pm)....I will pass on it given all the issues our party of 6 had. We had Hibachi and I have been to many before to compare this to: CONS: 1 - Chef was not much of a showman and thats why many go to hibachi, as well as what their tip is from 2 - Chef overcooked all the meats we had (except the lobster) - shrimp, fish, scallops, steak 3 - Chef took way too long counting all the shrimp each time to serve us and was having issues while counting them (it should not take a full minute to give each person 3 shrimp while you count - and if so you may need another occupation) 4 - Some ordered Jumbo Shrimp and regular and they were just mixed and served to everyone vs the right party. 5 - There were 6 cooked shrimp left over which the chef put on a plate to take away and we asked him for them. He said, "its my meal". I have NEVER gone to ANY restauraunt where I tip a chef and he is cooking his food with my food!!! Why am I paying for you to cook your food also - you do that on your own time! Next my Uber driver will stop to pick up his food while driving me home cause its "on the way". 6 - We asked for a Cosmopolitan drink and they didnt know what it was (its a basic drink like a martini really). 7 - I asked for an entree from the kitchen, Drunken Noodles. Everyone had been served their hibachi food and was almost finished eating I never got mine. After getting my waitress, to inquire; she forgot to place it even though she wrote it down when she took all our orders. By that time, I simply got her to pack it to go. 8 - Waitress never came by to refill drinks till we were finished eating and getting to go boxes.
SUMMARY - Maybe its better on weekdays; if you're simply at the bar or just get happy hour, if you dont have anything to compare it to, or if you get a better hibachi chef or witress. In either case I pass on any place that has subpar service anytime really and especially so many items...
Read moreLast evening I was out with a friend and what should have been a fun, enjoyable experience, turned into something quite unbelievable and not in a good way. When we arrived, we were greeted and seated quickly; no problem. We were seated at a station next to another couple, and two ladies soon joined on the other side. Waiting for our person to arrive, we watched chefs at other stations entertain their guests, with flames shooting high into the air. With peals of laughter from other tables, we anxiously awaited our chefs arrival. At last he hurriedly rushed in, and (knowing we'd all been waiting) asked for our orders right away. Within moments salad and soup (Both standard; plain iceberg and broth with a couple 'shrooms) arrived. Quickly enough the grill was heated and the show was soon to begin, right? As he prepared our meals, the entertainment value was lacking considerably at our table, compared to what was going on around us. My friend made a comment (joking; and in the spirit of the moment) about the lack of entertainment at our table. This particular chef decided to up that ante and make my dinner partner the entertainment, and at his expense! The chef picked up a container filled with liquid and says oh yeah? You want entertainment? Open your mouth! He proceeded to full-on squirt whatever liquid was in that bottle right at my partners face, AND KEPT SQUEEZING EVEN AFTER IT WAS FULLY FLOWING OUT OF HIS MOUTH! Now it may be customary for the chef to fling a piece of vegetable or a shrimp into an open, waiting mouth but this was next level and completely uncalled for! His shirt was drenched and sitting in a puddle, now he was supposed to enjoy his meal? The entire experience was ruined. When he spoke to a manager, SHE YELLED AT HIM! She very begrudgingly agreed to cut the bill in half, but still soaking wet and barely touching our food, we left, feeling...
Read moreMy go to sushi spot has unfortunately lost my full trust. I went in for sushi rolls and decided to get a seaweed salad for an appetizer, which came out frozen. It was freezing and am sensitive to frozen foods, which hurt my head and my teeth. When I showed her the bits of ice, the manager was explaining why it was frozen before finally saying what she can do to make it right. She offered it to be sent back for something else for the incident, so I ordered the sashimi salad. She stated she can get me “fresher” seaweed salad but after eating frozen food from them, I was not looking for the same item again. I do not want to go through the same issue again so I decided to order something else. It arrived after my meal and when both items came onto the bill, we brought it up to management and she then said she would only take off the seaweed salad. We stated the sashimi salad was supposed to be compensated for giving us frozen seaweed salad. After i said that, she was raising her voice, cutting me off, and eventually yelling at me in front of the whole restaurant. I said i didnt touch it so no need to argue and continue yelling at me, just take it off the bill. The food is not bad but the service is not up to business standards. Now to move onto the service from my waiter. My server was cutting me off not letting me speak at all, only listening and looking at my boyfriend to only serve him. Whenever I asked for something he changed the topic and the one time, would not answer me until he was finished about what he was speaking about. All the other times I was disregarded. Service is just as important as the food and is a must for me! This experience was completely humiliating and the attitude of the manager NEEDS to...
