I went there on Wednesday 09/20 around 9:30am after two doctors' visits close by, to get a coffee and something to eat as I had been fasting since the evening before. The place was not busy, there were only a few tables with people already eating breakfast or drinking coffee. I didn't want to eat in, so i walked to the standing assistant behind the cashier desk, after having looked at the pastries. When I reached it , one of the assistants was on the phone, the other serving people then preparing some orders. I stood silently there, waiting after having said Hello, I didn't want to disturb her. None of them acknowledged my presence. When she finished her phone conversation (with a customer), she just walked away, saying something to the other one busy with making coffee. She didn't say Hello, didn't tell me that she needed to walk away for 5 mn or 30 seconds, just simply ignored me. The other one making coffee also ignored me. I ended up leaving without having ordered anything and went to Starbucks further down for coffee and to Bethesda Bagels for something to eat. These assistants need serious training or restraining in...

love having this spot close by for a breakfast stop. Where else can you pop in and expect organic milk lattes, organic eggs and incredible breads made from unbrominated flours?

Where their service and skill truly shined was the catering for our baby shower. We eat a diet low on additives and preservatives and wanted the event catering to be full of healthy and delicious foods. Le Pain Quotidien really delivered on this. The tartines were delicious and we were able to take care of a variety of dietary needs for our guests. The gluten free, and vegetarian options let us serve everyone. The veggie tray was a stand out as the dips were so good. Plus the beautiful wooden display trays were a boost to any decor.

It was all so healthy that I did not expect positive reviews from guests, yet a number of people contacted me after the party to ask where the catering was from.

The ordering process was simple and they were really helpful making suggestions, answering questions and even making a number of changes along the way.

The day of the party delivery was seamless and exactly on time. The service...

Weird experience on Tuesday, 13 Aug around 10:30am. At the end of our meal, the manager there told my friend and I to ask for the check and push it aside and leave when my waiter brought it over, "like something was wrong." The manager told us he would cover our check and that he wanted to just mess with our waiter. Extremely confused and sympathetic to our waiter, my friend and I snuck him cash and ducked out of there! Weird to feel we had to pay in secret. We had no clue why our meal was being covered other than to mess with our waiter. We thought maybe we could be framed for dining and dashing? As a waitress myself, nothing is more devastating than your patrons skipping out on tipping, let alone not even paying for their meal. There was nothing wrong with our waiter, so it was a really confusing and unnecessarily cruel experience-- I hope things get cleared up soon because I don't feel comfortable returning! Five stars for the waiter's service, though-- he was kind and attentive. I hope you find a better job where...

I adore Le Pain in Wilwood. Even tho I have only been there 3-4 times and I’ve had the food about 5 times, but the food is delicious for someone, like I, that was/is looking for something new to try. The server/AGM, Juancarlos, who took care of me is the nicest person and he made sure I was well taken care of. The attention and care for his customers will make you feel comfortable and at home there. I love the Latte with oat milk and a shot of vanilla syrup. Well made, perfect temperature and light for any time of the day. The mushroom quiche is my favorite and a must if you eat at a Le Pain restaurant. I have only positive things to say about this store in particular, from the friendly staff to the delicious food and the tasty warm pastries (like the Cheese Danish!). If you’re thinking about getting breakfast, lunch, brunch or dinner here, take my word for it and do it. You won’t regret it!

This is my favorite cafe in the area. It’s cozy but also bright with large windows up front, indoor or outdoor seating, counter service or table service. Portions are not large (especially the waffle) but usually enough for that one meal (just don’t expect to take any home). I was surprised the Croque Monsieur is open-faced but it was tasty. I love that they have good cold drinks (mint lemonade) and hot espresso drinks or Belgian chocolate. My favorite is the mint tea because it’s literally fresh mint in hot water. The warm grain bowl is good but too dry for my hubs. I like the quiche. And of course the pastries are delicious. I also love that they post calories so I can include that in my decisions. I just wish they were open later for dinner!

I Absolutely loved Le Pain Quotidien on Old Georgetown! The location is fantastic, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely meal. It’s a perfect spot to meet friends or bring the family for a quick nice bite. Their lattes and cappuccinos are simply amazing—so smooth and flavorful, truly reminiscent of European cafés. I also can't get enough of their avocado toast; it's hands down my favorite! The omelettes are delicious, and they offer a fantastic selection of pastries that satisfy any sweet tooth. Overall, I highly recommend Le Pain Quotidien for anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with outstanding food and drinks. It’s definitely a go-to spot for brunch or a casual gathering with friends.
