This staff continues to be absolutely the worst customer service focused staff. When people order multiple drink and food items. Place it carriers and bags. I removed the tip because of this. Updated review and still the same. I frequent two Starbucks locations: one in Countryside, Sterling, and the other at Wildwood Shopping Center in Bethesda. It's like they're worlds apart. The team at Countryside always goes out of their way to make sure everything's perfect, even putting my drinks in a tray without me asking. That kind of thoughtfulness is why I always leave a tip there. But over at Wildwood, things just aren't the same. I've tried tipping in advance, hoping for that little bit of extra effort. Yet, nothing changes. Today, I ordered three drinks, including two hot coffees and a pineapple drink. It was obviously a juggling act waiting to happen, but no offer of a tray came. It's the little things, you know? Also, mornings at Countryside are always brightened with a cheerful "Good morning!" That small gesture makes a big difference, making me feel genuinely welcomed. I haven't felt that warmth at Wildwood, where greetings seem to be more of an afterthought. It's a bit of a letdown because you expect a certain level of service and care across all Starbucks locations. When one place makes you feel taken care of and the other leaves you struggling with your order, it makes you wonder. I love Starbucks, but my experiences at Wildwood have been a reminder that not all cups of coffee are served with the same...
Read moreYou can't beat Starbucks for those moments when you need a personally crafted beverage for that essential break in your day when you put all the drudgery aside and take a minute just for yourself. With the current economic pressures on all of us I find that the price of a regular coffee has gone to just shy of $3 for a tall. This is starting to change my Starbucks experience because I don't go there every day or as often I usually reserve my visits for double star days and bonus days when I get extra stars (Stars are the bonus rewards you get for being in the Starbucks rewards program). So while I will continue to enjoy and go to Starbucks on a regular basis, it may not be as often and it definitely will not be for those very expensive sweet drinks that are legendary in the Starbucks fan world. I'm a Starbucks shareholder and I enjoy the stock despite its recent drop in the last few months. I am hopeful that the management will either get comfortable with working with the unions or treat their people better so that the unions would not have a reason to be there. Either solution is fine with me, as long as my product is superb the atmosphere is good and it s easy to get a coffee prepared...
Read moreI have come to this Starbucks so many times since it is close to me and this one in particular is SO slow. The people who work here have no personality. They will completely ignore you when you are standing right there. I also have seen on a handful of occasions that they will make a drink and just leave it sitting behind the bar for minutes before they to hand it off. I’ve had to say to employees on multiple visits “hey that’s my drink.” I also have had to wait to order sometimes 5 mins because everyone has their back turned and they won’t acknowledge the people waiting. I’ve always seen them staffed with multiple people on the floor so I don’t quite understand why their service is so poor.
I try to give them grace because I am a former employee but this store is particularly bad because their employees just seem so unhappy and do not make any drinks with a sense of urgency. The manager needs to work on hiring good people or training these partners in...
