Came through the line around 5:35 p.m. on July 15 2024 to buy a shirt for my grandson. Two girls behind the counter were talking very loud.. I began singing loud to let them know how loud they were. When the half bald old guy was about to ring me up, I asked him about that.. his response was that Marshalls doesn't pay them that much so they have to do something to have fun. I responded that since I, as a customer, pay the corporation to pay him, I have to take a second opinion of that bratface come back and decide if I want that item. I told him although Marshalls is like a beautiful wedding cake, his attitude was like flies on the wedding cake. He didn't apologize.. he just said 'well you can do what you want to do.' And I responded 'yeah you can keep your flies.' This is why Ai and machines are replacing you. I feel like I'm in the dog on Twilight Zone. It's rare that you can find any conscious great service in this dum dum City and I am definitely moving. Stores that are known for great customer service can't even get good employees over here. The store was very clean and it was easy to find the things I was looking for.
I would like to highlight the cashier, Roy, who showed great patience and wonderful customer service while checking me out. I purchased $200 worth of items that varied from glass items to clothes and he took the time to package everything to ensure my items made it home safely. Additionally, I failed to mention prior to the purchase that there were 2 of the same items that had different prices. Roy took the time to fix the price and then had to re-ring me up when he was halfway finished. He didnât mind and was very patient and professional.
Please give the workers extra pay, as they are making sure that everyone stays safe and keeps this place running,...
