Maria's Carry Out — Restaurant in Maryland

First, the pizza is not good. There's barely any sauce on it, and it is like this thin, sugary sweet tomato-flavored sauce. It is just not good. The veggie pizza has canned mushrooms and olives, some onions. But mostly, the service is horrible. I do not want to order from here, but my family does. Whenever I've called this store, this older male employee harasses me and calls me "sweetie" and "honey." Let me say, I have let the store know this is not ok. If it happens again, I will be calling the manager AGAIN to see if you actually do anything to stop this harassing behavior. If you are so mad at the customers who order on the half day Sunday and Monday deal days, then just stop doing that deal. Personally, I don't think the pizza is good enough to even pay half price. It's only my cheap family that insists on ordering Maria's below-average pizza on those days. I think Maria's has a giant attitude and look down on the customers who come in on discount days. I have frequent this place many times. It's definitely a carry out, but you can eat there as well. The seating is cramped and not easy to be comfortable. Aesthetically speaking, the place is a hole in the wall. The basics only. They could use a decorator desperately. The staff there is pleasant and attentive. The lady who runs the register can be a little gruff at times. I suppose she is the manager most of time so I guess it's hard to maintain a certain congeniality. Of course the food is why you come here. The pizza I have had many times and found to be very good generally. The crust is cooked on top and bottom, but not as crispy as prefer. The sauce is good, but slightly little sweet for my taste. I like cheese on my pizza, and the portion is perfect and not burned. On a 0 to 10 scale, I would rate their pizza an 8. My wife has tried and likes the eggplant parmesan sub, and I love the marinated chicken sub that I have became addicted to. That's all I order these days. I ordered 1large cheese, buffalo wings that I asked to be cooked well done, a large salad and a large lemonade . Pizza was mediocre typical basic cheese pizza from a carry out not a family pizzeria. Wings were not well done. Taste like they were precooked 2 day before then recooked and has sauce poured on them... the skin on the wings was soggy not in a good way. I was charged for a large lemonade as I had 4 children with me. I was given instead one 16 oz mountain dew, no refund for my large drink that coast more than the one I was given. The driver called the hotel and requested that I meet him in the lobby. The driver was rude. In the way that he presented himself to me so much so that a family checking in noticed his callous interaction with me and ask what restaurant I ordered from so that they would NOT order from the same place.
