McDonald's — Restaurant in Maryland

This review is for the staff that worked this morning 3/4/2021 around 8:50 am. The location is Waldorf MD near the CVS. I was so impressed by the professionalism kindness and patience I received this morning. When I pulled up to the drive thru I ordered a bagel with egg and cheese. I decided once I got to the pay window that I wanted to change my order. Because of past experiences I just knew they would tell me no. When I ask the young lady at the pay window can I change my order she very pleasantly said “of course”. This took my by surprised. I smiled and said thank you. When I got to the window to get my food the guys passed me a bag and I said I changed my order he said “yes ma’am we are getting it together now” I looked in the bag it was napkins, syrup, butter and a hash brown. I asked if he wanted me to pull up out of the way. He said no ma’am we will have it right out to you. Within a minute he handed me my food. I said sorry about that and Thank you. He said No problem and Thank you. I tell you they made my day Because I have only had service like that a chick fil A. I was so impressed I just had to write this review. I usually don't write negative reviews, I just don't support the establishment any further. But last night I placed my order, 3- 2 for 2's and 4 sweet tea's via the drive through, the guy responded " okay I got chu " and told me the total. Kind of shocked my daughter and I as that was very unprofessional but I said "thank you" and pulled around to pay. My daughter decided to change one of her burgers. When he opened the window I asked if we could please change one of our burgers. Mind you I got the 2 for 2, it wouldnt change the price at all. He rolled his eyes, threw his head back and shut the window. 😱 When he opened the window again, I said" is there a problem? Because you seem like you have an attitude" he responded by saying " no you just don't understand how the computer works." How the computer works??? No I don't understand how YOU work!!! The computer does what you tell it. When you make a mistake you change it. Needless to say, after all that attitude, I STILL got my original order without the change I made at the window...And as predicted the sweet tea is...

We went to McDonald's because the kids wanted the Pokemon cards Happy Meal. We got to the speaker and we specfically asked if they had them before we ordered and they said yes. The whole time we were trying to order the person taking the order was rushing us just trying to get us through the line and resulted in messing up our order. We went to pay and they only had 1 of the 4 happy meals on our order. We told the person at the register the mistake and they didn't understand and just kept repeating 1 meal with 4 piece nuggets. We finally got them to realize we ordered 4 meals, not just 1, and as we were paying the girl that took our order quickly looked out the window and told us they did not have the pokemon happy meals.. Why say you did when was asked BEFORE ordering you did and then after paying say you did not? Also, I got a shamock shake and a good bit of it at the bottom is chocolate. They didn't run the machine a little bit to get the chocolate out before making the shake. The only good thing was the fries were hot. We will not be...
