Rock & Toss Crab House - Waldorf — Restaurant in Maryland

The atmosphere is fine. No bar yet (kind of depressing to see). Wasn't busy and got a table immediately. Ordered a combo of a 1/2 lb. of shrimp (no head) and snow crab legs which comes with a boiled potatoe and corn on the cob. It arrives at the table in a double plastic bag. The bag is full of water and the seasoning (hence why it's watered down). I ordered my hot/spicy and so glad I did. I could only imagine what mold would taste like as hot was what I would expect of just straight forward shrimp and crabs. The corn was mushy and lost its shape (frozen half cob which may have been sitting in warm water prior to my order? Not sure...). The shrimp were deveined but whoever did it didn't pay attention to detail as O found small pieces of the vein in half of my shrimp. They give you a plastic fork and cheap cracker for the crab legs. Only the claw was even big enough to necessitate the cracker. The fork was useless (a regular fork has longer prongs). The crab legs were meh at best. The best thing that we got were the hush puppies. They were great. A note, all the damn plastic....what a waste. Using netted bags instead of plastic will make things less soggy and watery allowing for more flavor, also less waste. Overall, being a native Marylander, I was disappointed and not impressed at all. I do have to give credit to our server who was excellent (only reason I'm giving 2 stars). I don't see this place lasting long. It's not worth the...

I've been coming here for a while simply because the food boil place I like best is far and recently changed their ingredients. All has been well except today the service was horrible which caused me to walk out and not order.

I usually call my order in so that I will not have to wait. However, this particular day I called 4x to place my order. The first time the girl that answered told me to hold on that 1 person was in front of me. Almost 10min goes by and I am still on hold and then the phone cuts off. I call back 2 more times, no answer. I called back once more, same girl answers that "she's doing something right now" and can I be put on hold again. I'm still very understanding at this point.

After being on hold for a few more minutes, I eventually get to the restaurant before she answers and ask for the manager because I see that other people are being seated that comes in while I am STILL on hold.

I talked to the manager and he was very dismissive because they had a party of 30 people.I asked him if customers that are just walking in take precedence over customers that call over the phone. He told me to "just put the order in, he still has other people to wait on"

I walked out and I will never again patronize this place again. It's unfortunate that a frequent paying customer can not come in and get answers to questions ESPECIALLY from a manager.

I understand they were very busy but the whole conversation put a bad taste...

My Server Corey was 10/10 he made me a custom flavored tea and was very familiar with the best seafood selections, now don’t go getting fancy that’s my thing. I don’t even know where to begin this is the third day since I been to this restaurant and I’m still talking about how AMAZING the SEAFOOD was and have already told half my family this is where we are going for my Birthday dinner.

When I say GOD himself made these Seafood Boil Bags 🦀🦐🦪🦞⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I have never ate seafood that was more Fresh and more Flavorful from anywhere in this area. I can’t say this enough GOOOOOOOOO TO ROCK & TOSS!! You won’t be disappointed. I will be back on my Birthday day in a few weeks but from now on I’m probably going to go once a month. Here is everything that I tried: Rockin Pot with crawfish, crab legs , shrimp, baby clams, sausage potatoes corn Appetizers Steamed Oysters, then I added on 6 Jumbo Male MD Crabs!! Chefs Kiss 😘 the amount of food I had left overs that I could eat for a week. Lastly the restaurant was very clean very friendly and not too crowded for a Sunday evening. The food came out fast and Hot. Recommend Recommend Recommend my New Favorite Seafood...
