The Habit Burger Grill — Restaurant in Maryland

Although the food is prepared made to order, the food was ready timely. May be in part to the thin patties. Menu is not big, but has a bit of variety, including steak, chicken, and veggie burgers and salads. They also offer to serve lettuce wrapped. They should think about wheat buns as well. There are 3 teas, strawberry lemonade, and peach and ginger nectar drinks (which I had and was good).

I give 4/5 for taste. Would be all 5 but my Santa Barbara sandwich should not have had bbq sauce on it, and did not taste good on that sandwich. I like they offer sweet potato fries as they were not too thin to overcook and not too big to not have taste. They have a pepper bar to get your own jalapenos, banana peppers, and pepperocini peppers. I picked up so me jalapenos that had black seeds, not sure if that is healthy.

3 2.5/5 for cost. There is no combo discount although they attempt to make it seem like it. The Santa Barbara is their double on a sourdough bun with avocado and cheese. The patties are not stacked, rather overlapped to fit the long sourdough bread. They cut it in half to give the illusion of two patties that fill both halves. The bread is thick (It is sourdough) and LOTS of lettuce, but not much beef nor avocado. The sweet potato fries are $3 and I expected to receive more.

Although I like the taste, for $12, I'll go to Red Robin instead. I will give it another chance so I can try the chicken...

January 28, 2025, I went to Habit Burger Grill to purchase a burger and a Chicken Caesar side salad. I placed my order and requested the Chicken Caesar side salad with additional vegetables. The cashier repeated the order back to me, took my money and I waited for my food. when I got my food and began to eat my salad, I noticed there was no chicken in my Caesar side salad, and when I inquired, the cashier said, “that the side Caesar salad does not come with chicken.” I asked her why didn’t she state that instead of taking my money for it when she knew that’s what I ordered? I asked for a refund, gave her back the uneaten salad. To date, February 12, 2025, I have yet to receive my refund. Pay attention to what you’re ordering. Make sure the cashier repeats the order back to you at least twice and confirm that what you’re ordering is made the way you’re requesting it and always check your receipts. They are taking your money. To date, February 19, 2025, I still have not...

Burgers were decent - nothing special. They were well seasoned - perhaps ever so slightly salty. Toppings were accurate and fresh. Fries had a nice flavor even without ketchup, just salt. The tempura green beans were heavenly. They were juicy yet still had a delightful snap. They must be enjoyed with the ranch sauce they provide. Also, the peach ginger nectar on tap was SO good. They get extra points for free refills. Finally, service was spectacular. When I mentioned I had never been there before the cashier offered me a blend of fries and green beans so I could try more items without having to pay more. He was also just very pleasant. Establishment was clean throughout.

Misses: no paper towels in the clean women's bathroom, ran out of fresh ketchup so we had to use packets, wait time was a little long for what we ordered, skip brussel sprouts... my camera makes them look better than they look! Hard to keep them warm in their airy space so they turned cold and vinegary...
