I came to the Mcdonald's drive-thru a bit after 9pm on Thursday 9/11/25. From the receipt it reads store #5912.
From the outset, while waiting to place my order at the drive-thru, I noticed apparent technical difficulties. I was in the second lane and observed three new cars being served ahead of me. Eventually, the woman taking orders asked if I could hear her; I confirmed that I could. It was evident she was frustrated, likely due to headset issues?? Having worked at McDonald’s myself for several years, I fully empathize with the stress of such situations.
I placed my order, and she initially got one part of it correct and got the second part wrong. After erasing my entire order, she began again, but incorrectly. I informed her that she had initially gotten the first part right and requested a simple change from double hamburgers to two McDoubles, which I had already clarified multiple times. I could hear her huffing and adopting an unpleasant tone. I reassured her to take her time, as I was uncertain whether she was still experiencing headset problems or was simply new to the position. I understood her predicament, having been in such a position myself. Unfortunately, she still got the order wrong, so I decided to correct it at the window, hoping this would help.
This, however, did NOT resolve the issue. Upon reaching the window, I encountered one of the most disrespectful attitudes I have ever faced. I requested confirmation of my order, as I noticed hamburgers displayed on the screen—items I had not ordered. She huffed and shook her head before reading off two double hamburgers. I reiterated my request for two McDoubles, but instead of correcting the mistake, she leaned her elbow on the window frame lowered her head in frustration, and began to raise her voice, exclaiming, “So do you not want the two wrap meal or do you not want the burgers? WHAT DO YOU WANT!?”
At that moment, I reached my limit. Despite my patience and understanding, I felt as though I was being treated as the problem when it was her inability to differentiate between a double hamburger and a McDouble that was at fault. It was not my fault that she was unfamiliar with the menu! I had made every effort to ensure my order was correct! In frustration, I raised my voice back at her and demanded that she adjust her attitude. As she continued to engage in a disrespectful exchange, I insisted on speaking with the manager, having to repeat my request twice as she began to use inappropriate language towards me!
The manager intervened, instructing her to cut her behavior before she jeopardized her employment with the cussing. The manager completed my order, and I apologized, acknowledging the pressures of management. However, I made it clear to the manager that the employee’s conduct was highly unprofessional. This experience left me deeply upset after a long day and just getting off of work, resulting in a complete loss of appetite. So after all of this, I do not even get to enjoy fresh made food!
I rarely write reviews, but this situation warranted an exception. If this employee treated me in such a manner, it is likely she is doing the same to others! Her attitude ALONE would warrant immediate termination had she been a member of my team! The CUSSING towards a customer who was merely trying to help is wholly unacceptable!! I expect...
Read moreTL;DR: This McDonalds is usually ok, but during the last visit, a burger wasn’t cooked all the way through, having the center be raw and ripe for foodborne illness. Check your food at this location before eating
We have gone to this McDonalds for years now, and our experiences with them has already been fairly mixed, with some times being spot on order and delicious, while others were wrong orders, incorrect food/additions to food, or service wasn’t great. However, our most recent visit has crossed the line. Everything was doing just fine, I got a Quarter Pounder meal, my mom got a Filet O Fish meal. I could see the sides of the patty visibly pink. I go ahead and deconstruct everything to make sure it’s all good, there’s loose shreds of lettuce on it (which I don’t mind lettuce, I do mind possible cross contamination). Although the sides of the patty were pink, the top and bottom was fine: brushing it off since a little patty on a burger probably wouldn’t hurt, went ahead and took a bite. Cold in the middle, and a darker pink. Inexcusable, since those getting food could be getting SICK due to incompetence of the workers in the kitchen. Although it’s a longer drive, we’ll be eating at the Mechanicsville restaurant for a while, perhaps permanently. For anyone going to this McDonalds, check absolutely everything before you drive away, even if you have to pull into a parking spot, or you could be disappointed and...

I don't hardly ever eat fast food and I try to stay away from Macdonald's, because I never have great experience. There is ALWAYS a problem with QUALITY AND/OR SERVICE. This time it is quality. COLD OLD fries no salt. I ordered the two of the new advertised third pound sirloin burgers. One LETTUCE AND TOMATOE.... received one very small piece of wilted lettuce and one tomatoe slice that did not even cover half the size of the dried out burger. They also must use a Ronco Peel knife to cut the tomato with. STEAKHOUSE burger..... again a dried out and tasteless pattie. There MITE have been a tablespoon of mushrooms on one side of the and the cheese had dried edges like it had been left out or freezer burnt. AGAIN I HAVE BEEN REINFORCED ON NOT GOING TO FAST FOOD AND ESPECIALLY Macdonald's. Through all the food in the trash. Wasted my money and time. Too angry, was not smart, to go back and tell them. It would have not been a situation. SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE WAY THINGS ARE GOING IN MY COUNTRY AND HOW PEOPLE DO NOT TAKE PRIDE IN ANYTHING. If they spent less time and money on the commercials and more on training, food quality, and giving the customer at least a close version of what they advertise and...
