Most of the staff here are genuinely nice, but this review goes out to one woman who works here who has absolutely no idea how to interact with customers. I won’t name her out of respect, but when I came in today to preorder a game and ask about a controller that was coming out that night, she was on a conference call but she still served me and talked to me, when I asked her a question about the availability at the end of the transaction she got upset and scolded me saying I interrupted the call.

Once I got to GameStop at 9 a clock to wait in line to get my preorder slip and controller, I was the 6th person in line. When I was eventually served I asked about the controller and she said they were out. I asked how many they had and she said 2 And that I should’ve gotten here earlier. It would have been completely fine if she showed any remorse but she looked genuinely happy that I wasn’t able to get the controller.

It’s also very upsetting that, if she informed me at 6:30 when I came in earlier in the day that there was very limited supply then I would indeed have come earlier. But instead she scolded me and didn’t answer my...

Jimmy has been consistently world class on 3 separate encounters. He goes above and beyond to find a fair and reasonable solution to make the business successful while keeping customers happy. He has called in used copies from other nearby locations to fulfill a used game special. He tries to accommodate transferring data if you trade from Switch to Switch Lite or vice versa. He gave me a heads-up that a PS3 ($20 today) trade in requires an HDMI cable, but his cheapest ones are $12 so I'm better off waiting and bringing in a cheap cable. I have had bad experiences with Xbox One S. First one I got didn't work. I was able to exchange it the next day with no problem. I did buy the warranty which was good because my next Xbox One S internal fuse blew when the house was struck by lightning. I knew I should have unplugged it but I didn't. Since I had the warranty I was able to exchange it the next day. Prices are very fair here, and I highly recommend a warranty on some of the more expensive things.
