My husband and I and our 2 children went here for the first time and ordered 7 speciality sushi rolls. The server we had was nice. The menu looked amazing because the have pictures of each roll. With all the different speciality rolls to choose from we just wanted to try everything becauseit looked so good! Unfortunately, when our food arrived we noticed some of the rolls didn't look right. One of the speciality rolls we ordered didn't have the ingredients that was listed and shown in the picture. We asked our server about it and she thought that was odd as well. She nroght over what I believe was the head waitress or manager ( not sure) and the lady came to our table with a very rude attitude and told us that no one has ever complained about it not having what the roll SHOULD have on it and that fish roe was just decorations! We were practically laughing because why would someone not care about not receiving what they ordered?? She also had the nerve to say she will take it off the bill as long as we don't eat it! Like basically accusing us of trying to get a free roll. Then some older waitress come over to spy on us and I had to ask her if she needed something. It was absurd. Overall the food looked beautiful, but all tasted the same because they just use mostly the same ingredients and not give you what the rolls say comes in them. I don't recommend this place unless you want to have to question why your food doesn't have what it should have and them telling you you're wrong to...
Read moreLast week I went to Nagoya Asian Bistro. I walked into the restaurant, past the sushi chefs that were making everyone’s meals, and after being greeted, a waitress in Asian wear immediately walked us to our seats. The tables were made out of a marble, and the whole place had a great Asian theme, with murals on the walls. Five minutes after we settled they came out and asked for our appetizers, and we ordered the standard soup and salad pack for about five dollars a person. The appetizers came by not even five minutes later, as the place was pretty empty, and after we finished we ordered our regular sushi combo of 5 rolls for an average price for sushi of forty dollars, and then they took our menus. The entire process was very polite, and we had a fun time checking up with everyone’s day while we waited for our food. Customers can see the chefs making their food, so 20 minutes later we got to experience them adding our rolls to a wooden boat that they then carried to our table. The sushi was amazing! Five stars! The texture of the rice was perfect, along with a standard sushi taste, and the size of the rolls were perfect to pick up and fit in our mouths, unlike other places I’ve been where we almost needed to eat it with a fork and knife. The only issue I had with this place is the wasabi, it is not flavorful enough, and the texture is off, so when you put it on your sushi it can fall off at times. Four out...
Read moreWas there at 3:30, restaurant nearly empty with about like four or five tables filled, we were out by 3:55.
I’ve been there multiple times before and the experience is typically an hour and a half in total. Was basically only there for 20 minutes.
Waitress constantly rushed the three of us, asked what we wanted to eat before asking what we wanted to drink. When we told her we needed more time, she gave us like two minutes before coming back. Asked three times in a seven minute interval if we were ready to order.
Food came out within five minutes of us ordering which is completely abnormal for this restaurant, as it typically takes a while.
Steamed Gyoza did not look as it normally does- definitely something off about them. My sushi was not prepped correctly, as there were still scales on my fish. The shrimp tempura did not get cooked like it normally does as it was cold on my friend’s plate upon arrival.
No one came into the restaurant after us, and the groups at the tables before we got there were still enjoying their meals when we left.
We all left feeling extremely hungry (not normal for us) and within a few hours, we were throwing up, feeling dizzy, and got chills.
I used to love going there, but I don’t think I ever will again. I still feel sick and I’m writing this...
