We were in search of a local baker for our daughter’s wedding cake. My husband found Michele through recommendations on a facebook post. We liked what we saw on her facebook page, and her website, everything looked beautiful. I filled out the contact form on her website, and she responded within a couple of hours. We made an appointment to meet with Michele, and to have a tasting. We asked to try the red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, and the vanilla cake with raspberry filling and whipped frosting. Both were amazing, Michele was very personable and friendly. A real pleasure to work with. For the wedding cake, we went with a three tiered cake, the bottom layer was the red velvet with cream cheese filling, and the top two tiers were the vanilla with raspberry filling, and the whole cake was frosted in the whipped frosting. We also ordered 3 dozen cupcakes in the same two flavors. We have been to several weddings over the years, and even my own wedding, where the cake was mediocre at best, typically dry and kind of tasteless. I can honestly say, the cake and cupcakes that Michele made for our daughter’s wedding is the BEST wedding cake i have ever had, it was so moist and delicious. All of our guests were raving about it. If you are looking for a great cake for any occasion, I highly recommend Michele’s bakery and sweet shoppe in Hagerstown Maryland.

The service was a quick turn around and very accommodating. Whomever I spoke with on the phone was very sweet when asking to pick up my cake. My brother (the one who actually picked up the cake) said that Michele was extremely nice and easy to work with. I encourage everyone to support this business. I will 100% be coming back :)

Amazing customer service and amazing quality! I couldn't be happier when using Michele's Bakery and Sweet Shoppe for my sister's baby shower. I was unsure of the design and so was very grateful for Michele's expertise and assistance! She helped reduce my stress and was very accommodating to my schedule! Thanks for everything!
