Bubble House — Restaurant in Halfway

I ordered the strawberry smoothie with red bubbles on top or whatever. My red bubbles were submerged due to the amount water rather than ice. It was fruit drink not smoothie. My smoothie definitely didn’t look as advertised nor did it taste like strawberry. It tasted like I’m diabetic now- with a dialysis appointment coming up soon. It tasted like sugar…….only. I stopped drinking after two sips. The second sip was for confirmation. Maybe I ordered right before they were closing or before the drinks recipe book went missing. The one star was because I had a place to sit to write this awful testament of experience. Never coming here again.

Edit Update: And since Im not allowed to respond back to the owners comment….go figure, I’d also like to add that I was not asked for clarification even if that was the case. If you guys are using the same picture for two different drinks, clarification should have been requested. You guys even have the same advertised image for the Strawberry Gate as you do for the Strawberry Slush on the DoorDash App. You guys do not advertise 3 different kinds of Strawberry Drinks. All this is just bad...

Their milk teas are very good but their service is among the slowest I've ever seen. 10 people in line, and as I type this I've been standing in line waiting to order for 30 minutes. These people have absolutely no sense of urgency that is required to successfully operate this kind of business and if the owner reads this, I highly recommend speeding up your process or getting your employees moving faster, this kind of wait time for these kinds of products can be detrimental and are going to severely cut your sales due to the inability to fill...

• updated the stars, however. Do to the initial issue. I won’t be back. Came here today and ordered two drinks a brown sugar and a lavender. Each lady made one drink each, both of them kept looking at the cups they were making like something was wrong then proceeded to smell both cups whispered to each other. Then finished the making them and then handled them to me. Not sure why they would continue to hand me a drink if they question the integrity of said drink but won’t be back. Didn’t drink them since i couldn’t trust whatever they were...
