MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Maryland

This is what the Towson MD store delivered after not disclosing on their actual app that they utilize DoorDash as their preferred delivery service. I was not notified that DoorDash was the delivering company until 40 minutes later when I received a text message after placing my order. My order was promised by 6:11pm... I had called customer service at 7:00pm as I had still not seen any movement from the assigned driver. Finally after the driver picked up our food we find that he has forgotten half of our order! How is this even possible when drivers are supposed to confirm all items are picked up. MODs delivery customer service rep had absolutely no empathy for the situation and this was how our food showed up after waiting an hour and 20 minutes. We had been quoted 45 minutes! My children now have to wait for other food to arrive, as I worked out of town all day and we had decided as a family that delivery was our option for the evening. This food is inedible… our pizza pies have uncooked bacon and the pizza itself are burnt and hard as a rock. The food was not even close to warm by the time the driver finally got here. And the icing on the cake was the store manager laughing about the situation and telling us that we were out of luck and that he wouldn’t help in any way. Completely disgraceful and deceptive practices…...

I recently visited the MOD Pizza in Towson, hoping to enjoy a delicious meal. While the pizza itself was quite good, I was left with mixed feelings due to the customer service experience.

Let's start with the positive: MOD Pizza's customizable pizza concept is fantastic. The ability to choose your own toppings and create a unique pizza is something I truly appreciate. The flavors are great, and the variety of options is impressive.

However, I can't ignore the glaring issue with customer service. During my visit, I noticed that the staff hardly greeted customers. It felt like they were more engrossed in their phones than in taking orders or interacting with patrons. This lack of engagement left me feeling unappreciated as a customer.

What truly soured my experience was finding a fingernail in my food. This was not only disgusting but also a major hygiene concern. It's crucial for any restaurant to maintain high cleanliness standards, and finding a foreign object in my meal was extremely disappointing.

In summary, MOD Pizza has potential with its tasty pizza offerings, but the overall experience was marred by subpar customer service and the concerning issue of food hygiene. I hope the management takes steps to address these issues to ensure that all customers have a more positive and hygienic dining experience...

I love MOD pizza but this particular location needs to do better. Some of the staff not all but some are very nonchalant. Once a girl was in her pajamas and a bonnet. They always give the bare minimum with toppings. Its almost like you have to beg for more. Once I felt rushed. And my last complaint I just ordered for door dash delivery I made specific instructions as well as tapped all toppings I wanted. Everything I selected was not on the pizza, and it was a bit burnt. That was pretty annoying. I don’t want to stop coming here because again I love MOD pizza but now I know I’ll Never!! use delivery because the nonchalant effort from the staff shows in the final pizza.
