My wife and I stopped into the Towson diner today for brunch. It was delicious. This diner, like many diners, is above ground level, but there's a ramp from the free parking lot so it's wheelchair accessible. The menu is quite extensive. My wife had scrambled eggs with Nova lox and home fries. I had a Bagel "All the way" which is a toasted bagel with cream cheese, Nova lox, lettuce, onion, tomato, cucumber and olive. The sandwich comes prior to construction. You can choose which of those ingredients you wish to use. There was plenty of Nova lox. I thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich. The diner is clean and neat. Service is good. You pay at the cash register. Prices are reasonable. If you're in Towson, the Towson Diner is an excellent place to eat. I recommend it.

It gives the classic American diner vibe for sure. The service I received was also really good. Let’s start with the good! The French toast is HUGE and very tasty. It’s sweet so you can eat it without any syrup. The crab dip was also tasty, I would most definitely get these two items again. On the flip side, my plate was dirty. The sausages were literally hard and stiff. I ended up sending them back. The waffles and strawberries were not what I a expected. Typically when pancakes or waffles are topped with fruit, I immediately assume it’s more of a sauce or sorts. A chunky sweet sauce. That could be a personal assumption and doesn’t necessarily reflect the place at all. All in all, I would possibly return. If for nothing else, the French toast.

Town Diner was a classic diner atmosphere with a Greek twist. It has a HUGE menu with all the yummy breakfast, lunch and dinner options you’d expect from a greasy spoon, and some Greek options as well. They even have some healthy as-ons and dishes that are very tasty. We went there twice while visiting relatives and had a variety of breakfast items: avocado toast with poached eggs on top, avocado Benedict (super yum), Greek omelette, salmon Benedict, and others. If we lived here we’d be here all the time! The staff were attentive and very nice, food came out quickly. And… pro tip: plenty of free parking!

Looking at the owner's response... how very sad it is when an establishment refuses to take ownership of a "horrible" customer experience. If you don't want to get a scathing review, simply get busy and make things right. This fist step is just to apologize and say "thank you, we'll do better if you come back" The response I got was "I'm sorry you didn't go out of your way to make "your" experience better. Next time, please do our job for us... We actually DID tell our server that spanakopita had large stems in it. It was visibly inedible... He did not respond to my complaint, nor did I have the time to continue to draw attention to what should have been an obvious blunder and do your job for you! You took my money anyway, now show you can take responsibility. Unbelievable!

Wife and I went this past Friday evening. Never again! We ordered the spinach pie platter. For many years, this was a dish my wife would order at TD, knowing it was made correctly. What we got this Friday was Absolutely awful! Phyllo dough was soggy. The spinach filling had huge plant stems in it. It was not fit for consumption; not even for a dog. Our server did not care when we mentioned it, and apparently no quality control measures were in place to prevent this mess from getting to our table. Folks…this wasn’t just a little off - this was disgusting. I’ve worked in more than a couple restaurant kitchens; I’m well aware what floats down stream…🤮

You know not everyone who owns a restaurant is cutout to own a restaurant, and understanding what customers service means isn’t something that’s printed on the back of...

I don't even know where to begin since we never even got to place an order.... Me and my family went in just after 1 pm this afternoon. The place wasn't extremely busy only a handful of tables sat at the time. We stood at the host stand for about 2 minutes before being sat. The lady brought us all waters and gave us menus and all seemed to be good at first. Well from that point another table came right behind us and sat in the same section to the right of the front door. There was 3 tables in the section in total one just finishing up eating and us as well as the other that had just been sat. Around 10 minutes goes by and nobody has still been to the table. Finally at the 15 minute mark someone does appear but he takes to order for the other table that was seated after us and never even said a word to us. The male server then walked to put their order in and when he returned from the back he sat in a chair in the corner just behind the section we were sat in. My wife looked at me at that point and I said do we just leave and we agreed to go.... It is a real shame because I wanted to give it a chance. The business had a decent 4.1/5 google review and we rarely come out to Towson and wanted to try something good and not just some chain restaurant. I can't comment on food as I said we were never given the chance to order any. But as far as service goes we weren't impressed and likely won't be back as we don't visit the area often. I hope management sees this and is able to address it so nobody else has an...

My spouse and I stopped by here this morning on a whim because they were craving some good ole diner food. The waiter/server was nice and they took our order promptly and the food also came out fairly quick. However, that’s where it starts going downhill.

The food, to describe in one word, was awful. We both got an omelette that came with potatoes and toast. Firstly, the bread was barely toasted. It was as if they left the bread in the slightly warm toaster but forgot to press the button to actually toast the bread to make toast. Secondly, the potatoes were uneveningly cooked. Some parts were burnt and some parts were undercooked. Finally, to make matters even worse, the omelette had so little taste and flavor that I felt sorry for the disservice that was done to the poor hens that laid the eggs that eventually became the omelette.

For those thinking: maybe it’s just your plate that they messed up. No. It was both of our plates.

The finally price for two omelettes and a cup of mediocre coffee was $40.

Save your money and go elsewhere (or make two omelettes at home for a fraction of the price). You can thank me later.

For the perhaps eventual message from a manager or owner asking to reach out to them to provide additional details about how they can make things better and that they are sorry for the food:...
