I would skip this place. I ordered delivery from here a few times, then went once in person I basically had the same gripes every time. Also the food really isn’t that good.
When I review places, I begin with five stars and deduct up to four stars based on four criteria.
Is it less than excellent? Yes. It’s not the worst, but I have no desire to eat here again. ❌
Is it less than good? Yes. Sad to say, but the food is not good. The potatoes are consistently underdone. Even if you’re not someone who needs their breakfast potatoes crispy, they’re still still underdone. They make them weirdly medium-rare, if you know what I mean. The scrambled eggs are consistently dry. The coffee drinks aren’t good either. I’m not retching at them, but again, I have a laundry list of places I would rather have make me an espresso drink. Considerably below par in terms of food quality ❌
Is it adversarial to its customers? Yes. The people there are nice, but I’ve just had so many problems. I placed a pretty basic order for two people in-store. There were like three other people in the store and what looked like eight people behind the counters. I was directed by the staff to place my order and pay on a tablet. I waited close to 40 minutes only to receive the wrong food. When I went to the counter with the food and receipt, the staff was willing to help, but it was such an ordeal getting them to understand what wasn’t lining up between what I ordered and what I got. Then there was considerably more waiting on top of that. Would it surprise you to hear that none of my delivery orders have been correct either? ❌
Is it worth the money? Yeah. You get what you pay for, and the prices are fair for a cheap and casual breakfast. ✅
1 out of 4 criteria met makes 3 stars deducted.
5 - 3 = 2
2/5 and a reminder that there’s other breakfast...
Read moreI have to say I am increasingly DISAPPOINTED with the Lutherville store. I have ordered there TWICE in the past two weeks and BOTH times my carryout order was wrong.
Today there were six young men behind the counter, none of whom seemed to have the ability or desire to get my order straight (Order number 60 if that means anything). First, no chicken salad. Ok, fair enough, but then my replacement sandwiches were BOTH tuna salad (I cannot eat tuna because I have severe allergies). AND, AND! I had to ask for the second time in as many carryout orders to have the fries I paid for included in my carryout. The guy behind the counter started doing a confused dance, casting his eyes about the whole place as if he had no clue where he could possibly find such an alien thing as french fries. They were sitting in the fry basket for all to see.
Your guys there are screw ups. I hate to be that raw about it, but that is my assessment. I can forgive one mess up, but two IN A ROW? Come on, get your act together or I'll avoid your shop for good. I am tempted to not come back as it is. Look for a bad review on yelp.
The food? It's really good. When I get food I can actually eat. And, no, I didn't bother going back for my sandwich. I have work to do this afternoon. On an...
Read moreI sat for 45 minutes waiting for my bagel. & number to be called. After realizing that I was not going to get my bagel, I left. The next day, the manager said that my bagel was ready and that I left. After 45minutes, I did. I was a regular customer for over 20 years spending $4- $7 a day there. That times at least 6 days a week. Because they knew me so well, they could predict what ..was going to order. So the following day when I confronted the management, they said my bagel was tthere and that I left. Well I was there for 1 1/2 hrs. while drinking my coffee and while chatting with a friend while she ate her bagel. I was hoping for a gesture of good will, So I asked for a replacement bagel since they really should have asked me, the loyal and daily customer. #102 was my bagel of which they admitted that it was after they threw it away. Reality: I thought my # was 101 . #101 never was called. And they just didn't want to go through a little extra customer service and ask it the cinnamon raisin bagel was mine. Or after, throwing it away, make me a replacement bagel. They way I look it, now I will walk to the 7-11 and Dave $.55 on the same size coffee and the rest of my savings, I will eat frosted...
