Atmosphere: It's a beautiful light place. Place energies and excites you. Beautiful rustic decor. They support veterans, which is an appreciable part of this restaurant. You can see that influence on walls decorated with medals and pictures of veterans. At the same time, it can be a bit tumultuous with a place being crowded.

Service: Service experience can be mixed depending if you're going to dine in or do take out. We did take out, even though we told the lady that it is our first time. She gave us no explanation on how ordering work there. There was no information given on combos or sides or no questions on if we would like any sauce or cheese, etc, which you will expect, especially if you tell a person that it's your first time visiting them. We were treated like a number and not like a customer. While waiting, one of the servers asked if we needed help and asked us if we were given some information, which they usually do.

Food: They claim their bbq is North Carolina style. For readers who don't know what is distinctive taste signature of North Carolina bbq. It is based on vinegar base. So, it gives distinct tangy, peppery taste. It's absolutely prodigious in its own way. I had a brisket sandwich and side of fries. The brisket and fries were not even warm, which you will expect from food that you bought 5 minutes ago. It was like eating dry paper. I was happy that I bought fountain drink to make it easy to go down my throat. Fries tasted old and dry that we had to throw it away. All in all, if you want a place with a good atmosphere, this is a good place to go. But, if you're looking for an amazing North Carolina style BBQ. I will advise on...

I am a lover of Mission BBQ. In the last month (last 30 days), I've gone there 7 times. Being a creature or habit, I get the same thing everytime. 3 meat sampler with the XXL combo option (brisket (x2), spare ribs . 5 out of 7 experiences were GREAT, But my last 2 have been quasi-horrific.

Those last 2 times, I went there close to closing (between. 730-830)and my experiences were dashed by hyper-dry meat on the first disappointment and on the second, not only was it dry, but I had more fat then meat (as I prefer moist over lean). The last two experiences were a grueling fight between trying to moisten the meat with my half & half....and trimming fat to find a microserving of brisket.

I dont wanna fault the staff because the customer service is A1, but whomever decided to make my last two orders need training on doing a customer right. Knowing they weigh their meat, one should take into account how much fat exists on the brisket and adjust accordingly.

Maybe stay away from here if you are ordering near closing. I felt like I had the oldest brisket in the world. A moist brisket shouldn't crumble like a dead sea scroll. My moist brisket was so brittle, that I just collected all the bits....dumped bbq sauce (kc is the s-!t) and essentially made a miserable sloppy Joe.

Food is too expensive...to not give quality everytime. If I wanted brittle brisket...I could make that myself!!!!!

All jokes aside...this place is great...but these two consecutive negative experiences have me wondering if the Love...

They were exceptionally helpful, And during the time were there. Choices were becoming limited due to the fact that they were close to closing. There were 2 of us that were requesting similar orders and and they had. 3 Orders left between twin 2 registers and the pair of us myself. Being one, we were ordering a total of 5 , Leaving too, to be desired between the pair of us . I received 2 and the other customer received one only. Due to the fact that I had Begun my order and was there slightly slightly earlier than they were. But to make all things work being convenient and making compromises that would make. All parties exceptionally satisfied and happy. They they discounted. And made Is other options available that would replace and be more than? Pleasantly fair and Their exceptional sequick problem solving and willing to. Expeditiously Work to make things. Not only quickly resolved but happily. Replaceable and done so with a very. Professional kind and happy manner of work ethic their food was great. I had no issues, and they even gave me some free food. A bowl full of pulled pork and another bowl for some water for my. Dog that road with me on the errand to pick up dinner. They noticed Tim and even put a smile on his face. Thank you, mission BBQ...

I've been going to Mission BBQ since May 12, 2018. On today Saturday, March 5, 2022 was my first time visiting this new location in Towson, MD. The cashier who took my order really wasn't courteous nor friendly towards me while I was placing my order with her that was the first red flag. I asked the cashier to tell the cook who was making my order to add the barbecue sauce on the side not on my turkey but instead they still put it on my turkey which was the second red flag by not following my instructions. The manager was nice enough to give me a card for a Free sandwich for my next visit. Unfortunately I won't be coming back to this location ever again. This food is horrible the only thing was good was the cornbread. The Mac and Cheese was awful the macaroni noodles wasn't even cooked all the way, the Green Beans taste sour, the Turkey is too dry and over cooked. For this to be a new location maybe y'all might want to hire some real chefs and cooks who has a great passion when it comes to preparing and cooking food instead of just hiring anyone who really doesn't have a passion when it comes to cooking food. This was definitely a waste of money $17.21

As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by appetizing BBQ aromas and several warm, friendly staff members! I had never been here before and the team was super nice, walking me through the experience of this place! In the end, I got a sampler plate with moist brisket, baby back ribs, and spare ribs. Everything tastes phenomenal! You could taste all the spices rubbed into the meat and the authentic smoked flavors of the meat. , The texture was fall-apart tender and juicy, melting in my mouth! Accompanying this meal was an array of 7 sauces on each table! Sampling them and finding my favorites was very enjoyable! This was EPIC barbecue!!! On top of the great food and INCREDIBLE, warm, positive customer service, this place supports our veterans, too!
