Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Maryland

Had the worst experience at this location. I ordered a penne rosa with Parmesan Crusted Chicken and Shrimp. When I opened my bowl I had NO MEAT AT ALL JUST NOODLES. I called the location to speak to the manager name Bridgette and she basically called me a liar saying that she saw them make my bowl and it had meat it in. I really got upset because do you actually think I have time to make a complaint for nothing and have time on my hand to just call to complain for nothing?? She then later explained that the restaurant was going to call me because they ran out of shrimp. First and foremost why didnt you just say that in the beginning instead of saying I was lying about my complaint. The manager was highly unprofessional and did not try to accommodate me at all. When you pay for your food you expect it to be right especially when you are paying money for add ons like shrimp. This location has poor customer service and incompetent staff members. I asked to speak to someone else and Bridgette gave me James number to speak to in the money. Which I have pictures to show I have no meat in my bowl at all...

So even though we are in a pandemic and it is the law that restaurant workers are required to wear face masks there is an employee that was working today at 6pm that did not have on a face mask or gloves that was handling food. When my 72yr old mother complained he said he was not cooking. However he was handling food and within 6 feet of the food. Now it doesn't matter if he was just mopping the floors it is required that he wear a face mask. He refused to put one on. When a complaint was made to the manager, the manager defending this by saying "it was too hot to wear a mask and cook". But wait the employee said he wasn't cooking but just taking orders and handling food. Regardless what difference does it make? Its required by the state of MD, Charles County, Osha and Noodles & Co corporate.There is no excuse acceptable. They have all these precautions that customers must wear mask, cant wait in the restaurant or sit down which is understandable but to do all of that and then allow an employee to not wear a face mask??? what sense...

I have always eaten really healthy and I absolutely love salads (rabbit food is what my friends call it, lol). Anyway on the Sunday before Memorial Day when everyone is barbecuing and eating everything that I don't, I visited Noodles and Company.

I ordered the BUFF Japanese Pan Bowl, but substituted the steak for chicken. The bowl comes with spinach, broccoli, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, Asian sprouts, black sesame seeds, cilantro and a sweet soy sauce dressing. The dish was ready within ten minutes and it was correct; exactly what I ordered.

I definitely enjoyed the portion size and the ingredients were really fresh and delicious. The gentlemen that waited on me was really sweet. He even brought my order to the table I was waiting at when it was ready.
