I was by myself and there was a couple sitting at my table just the 3 of us period The lady sitting with me stated that she was deathly allergic to onions and green peppers and I also advised the waiter that I have an allergy. when the chef came out, she started cooking the food & I told her the lady had an allergy to the onions. She had a bowl of the vegetables that go in the rice separate. (Noone ordered the food I'm allergic to) she proceeded to cook the rice & eggs & served the other woman her rice. she then added the uncooked vegetables to the rest of the rice & tossed it around for a few seconds & placed it on my plate. (vegetables were still raw!) she then proceeded to put the vegetables (no onion) on the grill, and tossed them around, adding seasoning. (she is still using the same utensils as when she made the rice). she then takes the "onion rings" that they use for the volcano & proceeds to make the volcano. she moves the volcano making the Choo choo noise over to the pile of vegetables, cuts up the onion & puts it on top of the vegetables. I say to her, this lady is allergic to onions! now she can't eat any of those vegetables. the chef proceeds to argue with me that only no onions in the rice. I keep saying NO! NO ONION! SHE WILL DIE! She continued to argue with me!!! she is also cooking the meat at this time. The lady ordered shrimp. she cross contaminated the shrimp with the same spatula used on the onion! I keep telling her no onions can touch the food & she continues to argue with me! she puts the shrimp on the lady's plate & she said I can't eat this, it touched the onions! she argues with her about the onions in the rice! she then tries to give her the mixed vegetables that contain onion!!! at this point, the lady & I are more than upset! the chef finishes & leaves. the waiter comes over and we explain what happened, his excuse was she doesn't speak English.... she literally has life & death in her hands & she doesn't understand!? but he wrote it on the paper & they spoke the same language! plus she was arguing with me just fine in English! I go over and speak to the manager who was stuffing her face at the bar. she never once went over to the other lady & apologized or tired to make it right with her! then they had the audacity to charge the woman with the food she couldn't eat! She finally got it taken off of the bill, but come on! that is ridiculous! my sushi order was wrong, but after all of that BS I didn't bother saying anything! if you have food allergies, STAY AWAY! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR WELLBEING OR...
Read moreIt has been a horrible evening here. They tried to cheat my mom and make her pay more money than she was supposed to. We sat down and the first thing my Mom said was "i have a Valpak coupon", and the lady said "we'll take it at the end". The end comes and the lady says "we don't take coupons on friday". But the coupon says Monday-Friday and my Mom points it out. Then they see me in my Jrotc uniform and offer 10% military discount. My Mom says "he's not in the Military and I won't disrepect our service members like that". Then they say "this is for lunch and dine-in only". They gave all of these excuses while trying to make my mom pay for the whole thing, and then my mom just asks if they can call the cops because she isn't paying a bill that isn't accurate. Additionally, she got overcharged $2.50 on her shrimp flambe and they refused to adjust it. Then without our knowledge, a nice lady decided to pay the bill even though my mom didn't want her to, because it's the principle. you aren't supposed to say "we can take it" and then go back on your word and not take it AFTER the food has been served and eaten. What's wrong with these people 🙄 The initial lady needs coaching and retraining! Had she done her job (actually looked at the coupon b4 saying "we'll take it later" ) none of this wouldve happened. Not to mention, if coupons aren't accepted on Friday's, that shouldve been the first thing said 🤬 This place is not honest. Be careful and pay attention to the prices and your bill.

Read moreMy SIL decided to celebrate her birthday here and I was excited to try Sakura because I had never been. Not a lot of parking for the amount of service rendered, but you can park in the shopping center parking lot for overflow parking. We visited on a Saturday and Sakura was very busy. Our wait wasn't long and we were seated at our station-we had enough people to have our own. If you do not have enough people, you will be seated with other parties to occupy a station.
My hubby ordered the filet mignon, chicken, and shrimp. I ordered the filet mignon, lobster, and shrimp. My appetizer of choice were mushrooms; his were 2 shrimp flambe. I chose the ginger dressing salad while my hubby and his family ordered the sweet onion dressing salad. I really enjoyed the ginger dressing-refreshing flavor.
The quality of the filet mignon was a 8 out of 10 which in my books is a very good rating. The lobster was good, but nothing special was added to make it delicious. And the quality of the shrimp was more so a 5 out of 10 - lack of firmness, soft. However, the shrimp flambe shrimp had more firmness and flavor with a rating of 7 out of 10.
The experience was awesome; to have your food cooked in front of you is something everyone should experience. Overall, Sakura gets a 7 out of 10 (ambiance, experience, and...
