Waldorf Marketplace I — Local services in Waldorf

Went to Capitol One to find a sign that says temporary closed. To go to the D.C or Waldorf location. Those are not close for people and an inconvenience. They already closed the 2 close branches. It's time to bank elsewhere. THEN went to Lowe's. The guy/worker Chris was the best helper and knew his stuff, refreshing. Cashier was nice as well. But the store is junky and cluttered. Makes it hard to find things. And floors were full boxes of stock that needed to be put on shelves but no one doing it. And the return line was over an aisle long. They needed help in the area and on the floor. Only two cashiers so that made it long for checkout. But luckily for us the line was behind us. Hopefully they got another cashier for the others waiting. I do like this store but than the other home improvement store. THEN...Walmart lines were ridiculously long. I found the one little item I wanted but laid it down and left without buying it. And those carts were packed. No 5'10 items or less lines. Even self checkout was halfway to the back of the store like the other lines. It was crowded and no social distancing and at times you have to tell someone to slide the mask over there nose. And sometimes they listened. Other times they didn't. I was out after seeing...

Let me start by saying I am an African American Female & today I was racially profiled at this store. I went into the store to buy some wine but walked around to look for other items. All 3 workers were behind the counter moving back and forth trying to see if I was trying to steal. I moved 1 isle over to see if they were indeed casing me. Indeed they were not only did I get profile but the pre-call the shopping center’s security on me as well. I was roughly in the store 5 minutes. After I grabbed both items to walk to the front I look up one of the men was standing on one end of the isle and another one the other end. I stood up fast head jumped saying oh hey I wanted to see if you needed any help but never parted his lips or walked to my direction. The other looking in the store mirror and camera watch me saying. We not watching you we are just walking around. The got angry when I bought it to their attention that they just profile me. They got mad and starting yelling. We don’t need you or y’all business . So question who’s yall ???? I was by myself. Of course I told all three I would post this on social media. I hope they never get another black dollar. The Wine...

Looks like facility is closed to "eat in dining" so we ate in our car. I ordered pork potstickers which was fabulous and I order these all the time. I ordered spicy chicken strips which was good but the crunchy batter seemed different from what I normally get. That might be my fault though because my husband normally buys the "bonless chicken", not the "chicken strips". We also tried something new. I ordered the fried rice with bulgogi. Considering that the chicken and potstickers are so flavorful and spicy, I was suprised that the bulgogi is so bland. The rice itself had onions, peppers, and sesame seeds. But it just tasted like brown rice. Even the bulgogi didn't add flavor. The cashier was nice and the food was ready to go when we arrived. My take away is -It was a long drive and over $60 for a fabulous potstickers and spicy chicken car picnic. I will order again when the craving for spicy chicken strikes. But I will not get...
