After 3 experiences of 70-90 minute waits on delivery orders, I won’t be ordering from this location again. Despite the reasonable delivery estimates, I’ve never gotten an order that didn’t take at least twice as long to arrive than whatever the quoted delivery range was. Time of day and tipping ahead don’t seem to matter either. So, unless you like waiting upwards of 90 minutes to receive a cold, one topping pizza (even if the location is less than 5 miles away) - this location isn’t for you. Walking to pick it up would be faster and less frustrating.
They even offered a free pizza after my last negative experience (rather than a refund) and despite being told it wouldn’t take more than 45 minutes to arrive/ I waited for an hour and 40 minutes and the driver still didn’t show. I ended up driving to the store myself and asked them to remake the order for what was now the 3rd time.
The store wasn’t busy, there were two idle delivery drivers in store and no new orders came in while I was there so I really don’t know what their issue is.
I will say that the manager on duty seemed genuinely apologetic, but that doesn’t change that fact that there are some serious and persistent issues with this location. (Monté/Monty) As a note to his effort, I do appreciate that my concerns were finally addressed in a way that led to resolution but there’s no reason 5/6 interactions should be so remarkably negative. Final thoughts? The manager seemed nice, so I hope he gets out of this role and into something better. This location? Save your time, money and patience and just go somewhere else. Like, literally anywhere. A giraffe riding a 2 inch bicycle could get a pizza delivered more quickly and without incident.
UPDATE: Tried ordering again and pizza arrived partially overturned in the box and the seasoning packets I ordered were missing. The driver was kind which I appreciated but Thomas, the manager on duty, was a jerk. When I called to ask about the missing seasoning he offered to have them brought back, but after an hour no one showed up and he said it was “impossible” to issue me a partial refund. I have had it before, but last night there was alfredo sauce mixed in. I like alfredo sauce, but I don't eat it as I am diabetic and most alfredo sauce contains more carbs. The food was good, but it did make my blood sugar go up. I was just wondering if this was how it was supposed to be all the time. Are they changing the recipe? If that is the case, give us a choice! Called for an order to be delivered 2/25/2019 at 7:00pm on a Monday evening. Gave the male employee all my information, alternate # everything as this was my 1st time ever ordering from Papa Johns. Was told 45 minutes to an hour for delivery. At 9pm called back as no delivery had been made and was told by another male employee that the order was made but couldn't be delivered because the address wasn't in the system.
