Panera Bread — Restaurant in Maryland

People & service has always been great the few times I have been to this location. I also really admire the Panera Bread core value of no artificial ingredients with any of their food. Very few quick service restaurants can say that about their food!

I have always enjoyed their breakfast and its a great place for a soup and sandwich for lunch and amazing bakery items for dessert! However, every time I get a high protein menu option during their dinner, its always disappointed me. I tried their chicken sandwich once and was not impressed. Nothing was really wrong with it, but just felt it was very metocre for the price theyre charging.

Today, I tried the chicken terriaki bowl today. It tasted pretty good, except the Broccoli was not very ripe and the chicken was very fatty! Seemed to be dark meat. Again thats not good enough for the price they are charging. Just a few doors down, Chipotle has bowls with WAY better quality lean chicken bowls and for less money! So Panera Bread needs to fix the quality of the dinner foods. Especially their protein offerings.

This is not a knock on this location or management here. They seem to be doing a great job. Its just something Panera Corporate needs to address with some menu...

I got my order to go,because it was close to closing time,and I had with me my 21 month old with me, so I had to order something ton the menu hat kids 💘 ,I ordered Mac&cheese for him with 🍎 Juice.And for myself, I order a half of 🍞 because they didn't have any of the type of bread that I wanted, I also order the broccoli soup p and a half of chicken 🐔 sandwich. I. was also asking for almond butter, which they don't have, because it is lalmoind cream cheese, my Servi er correct me, it is crea m cheese not Butter. I was checking my food when I notice 😋 my half of 🍞 look like extra pieces of bread 🍞 that they give you. I went to my Servicer and I say this not a Half of bread ,she stated That is all they had and they are out of that bread, so I ask for refund and the manager said no ,I got upset and I AM not a dog ,it was two broken pieces of bread that they said was a half. The manager was rude to me, he opened the c,ashregiter and trey. a 1$ bill and told me to get ou andt that the store is his..A d stated he was going to call the...

Had been well over a year since I went to any Panera Bread location as they would consistently mess up my order. Today was in the area and decided to give them another chance. Placed two orders for eat-in. When my name was called, noticed that they forgot the French bread for the soup, and a bag of potato chips. Mentioned this to the staff member who was busy joking and cursing with other staff members. She gave me the missing items without so much as an apology. Then got to the table and noticed that the Bistro onion soup for dipping my French Dipper had a minuscule amount. So- went back to the counter and the same lady rolled her eyes and gave me another cup that was also almost empty. Did not want to deal with these morons anymore so ate my meal and left. As I was leaving, noticed a bunch of other patrons also complaining about their messed up orders.

Contacted Panera corporate and left complaint about my experience. Gentleman said I should be receiving a call from the manager in a few days. Well- 6 days later and no call..

I am done and will never patronize any Panera...
