If I could give 0 stars for customer service on this particular Qdoba branch on Campbell Blvd in White Marsh, definitely it more than deserves it. I hate giving a bad review and this is the very first time I am doing this because I think this would serve as a learning experience for an employee and even the manager alike who were extremely rude. This is really worth sharing with fellow current and future customers We all should speak up and stand for our rights!!! Rudeness of employees and disrespect to customers should never be tolerated!!! Beware!!!
Firstly, foodwise as frequent customers, we love eating at Qdoba with its fresh ingredients and superb 3-cheese queso. To ease our hunger, we were looking for a good lunch in the area on a beautiful Sunday and headed for Qdoba, one of our go to and favorite places for a quick meal. I was finishing up my order with this one young female employee and tried to get a side of Guacamole. Then she asked me something which I could not really hear with both our masks on and the background noise of the vent fan in the cooking counter behind. So I questioned, what she was trying to ask me, which I thought was about my order. She replied with an attitude, seemed impatient, annoyed and said “never mind.” Again I asked her, spoke louder so she could hear me, she answered one more time, “never mind.” She left just tried to ignore me and got something from the back, acted like I was not talking to her. Maybe she was just having a bad day to justify her rudeness to a customer! All of a sudden, unexpectedly, another employee who introduced herself as the “manager” jumped in and blustered saying that “You( customer) can not yell at my staff, she is a minor. They are kids, under 17 -18 y/o and I have to protect them.” This was indeed a surprising and disturbing gesture from a “manager” who could have handled the situation better and tried to get to the bottom of it first to resolve the issue instead of escalating it !!! Understandably, it is a “manager’s responsibility to protect his/her young staff but likewise she has to treat customers right by just at least listening to us if any incident such as this arise. I could not explain my side because she hardly gave me any chance to do so and kept reprimanding me with a raised voice. She has her mindset , one-sided, falsely believing that an allegedly hostile customer mistreating her teen staff . She should have been impartial, get the story of both sides and be in an arbitrary position before reacting just like what a typical manager does. If she only listened, she could just have given some guidance as a manager to her young staff to refrain from being rude and mean to customers. A “Nevermind” response to an inquiring customer who did not hear what she said is absolutely inappropriate! With this pandemic, going on for over a year, we should have been at least more or less adjusted and more patient at this time if communication is harder with barriers like face masks. How can an irrational person who has a temper with anger control problem and who is rude like her subordinate assume a managerial position??? You tell me! Sadly instead of us planning to enjoy our meal on site, we just left very disappointed and humiliated by a fastfood restaurant we frequently visit. Hope Qdoba can give proper and intensive training about customer service to all employees particularly the White Marsh Branch on Campbell Blvd to keep up with Qdoba’s standard and reputation and not be tainted ...
Read moreQdoba’s is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants and on Thursday I currently visit the white marsh location 5282 camp all Blvd my first visit was great however, my continued experience with this location on Thursday has always been horrible from my first visit the employees are rude and don’t want to give you what you ask for even if your paying extra they overcharge because they don’t have the proper inventory to serve my choice of the menu this hasn’t occurred not just once but numerous amount of times with this location I say to myself every week I need to not go but it’s my favorite and convenient, food is good at Qdoba’s but not this location their attitudes and customer service makes my food taste horrible and when you complain they get even more rude this location is having me think twice about ALL Qdoba’s they shouldn’t have staff like this with the great name behind the food today was my last time visiting this location hopefully I Will visit others just not this one I walk to the door of the location and I ask myself why are you doing to yourself again because I know it’s going to be a problem with my food ……. And it irritates me because with my work I visit restaurants across Maryland and I know good customers service and professionalism and they have none I only have a few mins for lunch each day some days I don’t get lunch so this is a huge disappointment to me and time consuming to have to stop to get your lunch from one of your favorite places to be disappointed and time wasted with food you pay a for and don’t eat because of the experience that just ruins your appetite, I guess on Thursday I will just have to go across the street...
Read moreWonderful experience at my first trip to Qdoba. I haven't gone to this location yet,but I will very soon. I've tried to make myself like Choptle, nope. I overlooked this little tasty wonder because I thought it was just like it. I got the nacho lime chicken bowl with queso cheese and it was heaven in a bite.
Oook, I'll have to drive to another location. I recently went to this location as soon as they opened. I was in the area and wanted some chips and cheese. I've gone to qdoba several times now and I always order chips & queso. I didn't really bother to look because they always fill my bag of chips to the top. I didn't realize when I got home my bag was a little less than half full.
I stated I arrived as soon as they opened because i was in the area. I would've thought the food would've been hotter than it was..idk. I just say this because the other locations have always had everything HOT. I've received my bag filled to the top. No skin off their backs but... CHIPOTLE is opening across the street soon. Make sure your food is hot and customers get the correct serving.
