I just ordered my sandwich at the BWI location and had a horribly upsetting experience. I’d checked the big board with all the sandwiches and made my selection but didn’t see anything related to the type of bread. I’d watched the woman at the first station treat the customer ahead of me very rudely (impatient with her lack of English proficiency) so I was already nervious. I walk up to the first counter and she flatly says “your order.” And I state I’d like an Italian. She curtly asks,“what kind of bread?” I said, “what do you have?”
She stares directly at me and points her finger down a few times in a row, intensely pointing her gaze at me for about five seconds. I give her a puzzled look, and she says loudly “READ”. It was then that I noticed the sign below that said the bread options were white or wheat. Embarrassed, I eek out, “oh… white.” and just walked away to the next station. It was incredibly humiliating and upsetting. It would have taken less time just to tell me the literal two options than try to teach me some lesson by pointing at...

Since then not only sandwiches but also Sundae. Today I needed 5 of them because my friends also have the same cravings now. A woman that I haven't seen before told me that they don't sell sundaes and I explained to her that maybe they don't call it like that and I explained how that so call sundae was made. We were very hot I volunteered to get the ice creams for everyone and I went empty handed. I understand that you can have a bad day but no one has put up with no ones problems. We had to go somewhere else and they aldo were delicious. See you...
Read moreI hope the owner reads this ...... I was a weary hungry traveler who took a chance on Potbelly being good and won.
The three ladies working Friday morning were all friendly and my food was great. I had the roast beef with blue cheese crumbles (large) some chips, a water and powerade for about 20$. I consider that a deal at an airport venue. The sandwich was such good size and hearty. I did not feel hungry for the rest of the day.
Beside the sandwich being absolutely fantastic was how friendly the 3 ladies who were working were. All smiles and pleasant. Extremely rare anywhere these days.
So you made me a Potbelly fan. I liked you on facebook and looked for a location in my area (Garner, NC ) ..... none in Garner but on the other side of Raleigh in Morrisville you have shop. I'll stop in next time I am over...
