I figured I'd wait until this location opened before giving this chain a try despite driving by the Westminster one a couple of times. I ordered the standard Cane's Box Combo meal on opening day with an Arnold Palmer (half lemonade / half tea). I entered from south-bound Rt-3 and they had 4-5 people directing traffic on both sides of the access road in the median. The drive-through has only one lane that splits into two ordering Menu/speaker kiosk things that shrink back down to one lane to receive your food. They had this location stacked on staff and kept the line flowing pretty quickly. It only took me about 20 minutes waiting in line from stopping on Rt-3 to exiting the parking lot. I was expecting it to be WAY worse on opening day so kudo's to the management for figuring this out in advance and to the staff for flawless execution. Now on to the food: The chicken fingers were alright but not as large as I was expecting. My understanding is they make them daily on-site and batter them on-site. The batter on 2 of 4 of my fingers way wayyy too salty which makes me wonder if they salt them after frying them. I'll revisit these when I try this place again but for now, I'm not impressed and don't see what all of hype is about: 6.5/10 I'm normally not a fan of crinkle-cut fries but Cane's are thinner than the bagged frozen type and have a good flavor overall: 7/10 The Texas toast was delicious on the 1/3 they buttered but the other 2/3rds had no butter and the whole piece of bread was barely toasted and mostly just chewy bread inside. The bread they use is interesting and reminds me of Challah bread (a Jewish brioche-style bread) with sesame seeds. Because I know this has potential, I'll give it a 6/10 for now but it'd be a 9/10 if it was properly buttered/toasted and I realize this is a review on opening day so I will revisit this also. Coleslaw was standard run of the mill diced-style coleslaw that tasted clean and fresh but doens't set itself apart from any other standard coleslaw but still better than store-bought 7/10 The Arnold Palmer was good, not too sweet and good lemonade and tea flavor and tasted like they prepared both fresh on-site. 8.5/10 The Cane sauce was something that surprised me entirely. I wasn't sure what it was made of and was expecting it to be a honey mustard or bbq based sauce but it is actually just mayo/ketchup with some black pepper and garlic powder mixed in. I'm not sure if they prepare this on-site either but the sauce on opening day had WAYYYY too much black pepper in it and threw off the taste of the tenders as a result. This is another one I'll revisit but for now I'm rating it a disappointing 3/10

I saw the construction of this site and I couldn’t wait to find out how the food tastes. I read the reviews about the lines for the food. I downloaded the App to order my food. The parking scene was insane! There were people parked in the Mobile Pick Up spots and went inside. I had to end up driving around twice and call to have my food brought outside. Now, onto the food. It was not what I expected. It is definitely not a place that I will be going out of my way to make a purchase. I ordered the Box Combo. The tenders were seasoned well, but not as large as I expected them to be. The crinkle fries were super small and thin. The coleslaw had the “store bought” taste. I was not impressed by the Texas Toast. Lastly, the sauce was not something I would eat with these tenders. I guess it would go well if it were the special sauce on a Chicken Sandwich, but as a dipping sauce…Nope. So, I do not see what the Talk is all about. Not for me. My daughter, who is 16yrs old, found it very underwhelming also. Now, we both can say that we gave it a try.

Limited menu selections but food was good. I got the tenders, crinkle fries, Texas toast and half and half. Fries were nothing special but good. Toast was awesome. Chicken tender by itself was moist and crunchy but not much flavor on its own. What made it awesome was the sauce! Reminds me of an Old Bay flavor....very good! Overall I love it! Half and half was delicious and not too sweet. ChikFilA has competition for the drink....RC was better and ice similar. Popeyes is in trouble...RC much moister. I went through the drive through as all parking spaces were taken. Waited a half hour in the line and wasn't disappointed. Security was directing traffic. It's brand new so everyone is here! I wish RC well. Try it out, especially with the sauce! This was my first time trying RC anywhere and I WILL be back!

So since this place opened I have seen lines like a Chic-fil-a wrapped around the bldg. My sons also keep going there so Cane's trash kept coming home on several occasions. Naturally it was time for me to try it. First I'll say the line was definitely long but it moved fairly quickly. Next, the drive thru service was quick and efficient and I liked that they greeted me with a little chant that went something like "chicken chicken what meal you pickin" or close 🙂. Although I knew they were supposed to be known for chicken fingers, I was, in fact, surprised to see that's all that's on the menu. So I tried a 3 finger meal. It was piping hot and fresh so that was a great start. I got an extra sauce (which they charge for) only bcuz I'm a sauce girl and always need extra if I like it, so better safe than sorry. Babyyyyy, they were by far the best chicken tenders I've ever had! I might go so far as to say the fries were in the top ranks as well. They were crinkle cut but thin and cooked perfectly golden. The meal came with a piece of Texas toast, which was also good but I gave it to my hubby cuz I just didn't want the extra carbs. But the sauce...so glad I got an extra cuz it is ON POINT!!! The only thing I didn't care for was the lemonade, tasted like it was powdered. I have been back since and got the 4 piece meal because that one comes with coleslaw and I wanted to try it (pretty good) and I got a different drink. 2nd time going...same thing...efficient, friendly service and hot, fresh good food. Let me say I was in heaven! It was $ well spent. Do yourself a favor and try Canes if you have been wondering what all the hype is about because now I see why the lines are the way they are. I hope and pray they are able to maintain and stay consistent. Happy to have this new...

JUST EAT ACROSS THE STREET INSTEAD. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME! Avoid this place like the plague if you’re looking for somewhere to eat late at night the staff DON’T CARE. I waited almost 10 mins in the drive thru for the wrong order. The staff looked like they were arguing as I sat and waited. When they gave me the bag they hurried to close the window so I knew something was up. Lo and behold the container had only chicken and 2 pieces of bread. (I ORDERED A COMBO and specifically asked for NO bread EXTRA fries). I pulled off already so I decided to walk in to get the issue resolved although it was RAINING HARD. The manager at the time ANDREW had nobody working the front of house. I waited 2/3 minutes when the place was EMPTY. After he FINALLY strolled to the cash register and I explained that there were ZERO fries in my container he hands me a small box of crinkle fries that isn’t even 1/2 full. I opened the box and by the time I saw what was in it he disappeared to his office. I waited another 10 MINUTES at the cashier while the drive thru staff stared at me before I was forced to ask for help. You would think it was obvious. Someone knocked on the office door. Andrew comes back and I asked for a refund which I’m not even sure will show up in my account. The drive thru staff knew exactly what they were doing and LAUGHED when they saw me come inside. The WHOLE experience was VERY POOR but it starts at the top. I use to really like this place and dine in. After this experience I will think 2x before coming back ESPECIALLY at night. They don’t even deserve one star. . Take your money across the...
