Me & my 3 of my friends came to this establishment to have a good time...however what we were in store for was very upsetting. At first everything was fine...we order our drinks and our food and are talking having a good time. One of my friends orders a plate of quesadillas, however he never receives them...even when everyone else (even people who ordered after him) gets their food he still doesn't receive his plate. So he decides to cancel his order because he felt disrespected & it was taking way to long. Furthermore, another one of my friends received a plate of nachos with chicken that for one was very undercooked & two didn't taste good at all. He asks very kindly to take it back because of these factors and the server takes the food back with an attitude...Now here's were everything gets weird. Once we finish our drinks we go to the outside sitting area and as soon as we sit down the Security guard walks up to us and says we have to leave the establishment and starts to get very aggressive with us. At this point we are all confused because we haven't done ANYTHING to be kicked out..so we ask why this is happening and they refuse to tell us. I ask to see a manager & nobody answers me. I ask the bartender who served us why and she says that the kitchen felt disrespected by us, even though everything that happened was their fault. Truly TERRIBLE service & atmosphere. Let me start by saying this has been a favorite spot of mine for years! The pizza and wings are some of the best in the area, and my favorite bartender, Savonne, is always pleasant, quick with orders, and makes fantastic cocktails. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was a completely different experience. I waited at a high-top table for 25 minutes without being acknowledged. While I understood the server (an older white woman with black hair) was working solo and I tried to be patient, her attitude was unacceptable. She walked by my table several times, loudly saying, “They will just have to wait. I am busy,” without ever looking at me or even offering a quick “I’ll be right with you.” It wasn’t just me—between the bar and the high tops, I saw at least five couples leave due to lack of service. When another woman at the bar asked for help, the server flatly said, “I can’t do anything for you right now.” I understand being overwhelmed, but dismissing customers in that way is not okay. As a regular Friday night patron, I’ve always known this place to be well-staffed with great service. This visit, however, was such a disappointment. Management needs to address this, because multiple customers were lost that day due to poor service. I’ve always heard good things about this place, so I decided to stop in with my sister for a quick bite.

We seated ourselves at the bar, but it took a few minutes before we were greeted. The bartender seemed more focused on side conversations than checking in with guests, even though it wasn’t very busy. A quicker, more attentive greeting would have made the start of our visit feel much more welcoming.

On a positive note, the beers we ordered were nice and cold. When we asked about specials, we were told there weren’t any and were just directed to the online menu. It would be helpful if the staff could at least highlight a couple of popular items or recommendations for guests unfamiliar with the menu.

We ordered the fish and chips along with the trip sip appetizer. Unfortunately, both dishes fell short of expectations in terms of flavor and quality. With how much good feedback I’ve heard about this place, I was hoping for a better food experience.

Overall, the service and food both have room for improvement. A little more attentiveness from staff and some focus on consistency in the kitchen would really elevate the experience. Will I visit or recommend this bar? NO we have so many to choose from why waste the time for a 2nd...
