My family recently moved to Gaithersburg, so I thought I'd give this location a first try. Before though, we lived closer to a different location so I always went there. So I came in toward the end of the day, it was pretty quiet. No customers in line. The staff were pretty lax, and just trying to clean up for the end of the night. They were kind of quiet, but friendly-ish (obviously tired, I understand). I ordered 2 sandwiches, a large fry, and a drink. I'll start with the large fry: Room temperature, no salt, dry, overcooked, obviously sitting out for a while since there was no traffic. A few were so crunchy that they kind of remind you of those French's shoe string fries: super crunchy all the way through. It's like they got tossed back in to a toaster oven, twice. Those fries are like $4, and I received it basically 3/4 of the way full. See picture attached. I added whatever bottom bag fries were in there, so that's everything. Also, a word of advice. When you're waiting on 2 sandwiches, don't go grab the french fry, and then go stand around at the sandwich window for 4 minutes waiting for the sanwiches while the fries sit in the bag getting cold. Moving on to the spicy chicken sandwich: I looked at it, and it actually looked pretty tasty, well breaded. I thought it made up for the french fries. I took a bite into it, and pretty much every bite I took out of it had stringy bits that I had to keep separating. Possibly thawed and refrozen? Or not cooked properly? Who knows. So the sandwich was a bust. Moving on to the double 1/4 with cheese burger: I thought it was pretty hard to mess that up, but I was wrong. Not really any seasoning (I think they just toss salt on, I've been to a different location and they usually have a tiny bit more taste). The entire burger also had a sort of icky metallic aftertaste. To be honest, I wasn't sure if it was a bloody taste from the meat, or a metallic taste. The burger looked thoroughly cooked through. My family member suggested that maybe the grill wasn't clean so it was probably metallic. Other things: they only had a single fixing cup left, and usually I've gotten 3 during the covid era because they usually only put a single tomato slice in each. I'm used to getting the fixings myself. This particular issue was the least of the issues of course. I wasn't thrilled, but I understood it was the end of the day, and I know they probably have someone make them early in the morning before refrigerating them. So this trip was a total bust. Not a great first time to this location. I keep going back and forth on whether I should give them the benefit of the doubt and just come back in the daytime. From my experience the last few hours of the night are when the quality tends to dwindle or becomes inconsistent at all locations. But really, it gets pretty tiring spending $16 and every time having to take a gamble on the quality of my "High Quality Fast Food" as management used to put it. I asked them in the past why they never made dollar burgers like other competitors, and that was the response they gave me. "We only make high quality fast food." 🙄

Great breakfast. The crescent was buttery but just the right amount. Ham, egg, and cheese crescent was better than the bacon one. The fries are light and not greasey like a McDonald's hashbrown. The coffee is decent. I was offered a spicy sauce, which I believe is called Texas Pete something, and it tasted good on the crescent. The associate working was nice and friendly. I'd recommend this for a quick breakfast option.

Looking for some really good Old Fashion Fried Chicken? Try a hot off the fryer piece of Roy Rogers chicken and your taste buds will be craving for more. The number 11 (3 piece meal) did it for me. Don’t forget to ask for the senior citizen and military discount. The price is just right and don’t forget the salad bar with all your fixings.

This place serves a variety of foods, and all the foods taste great. The lunch and dinner menu are divided into 3 sections, burgers, roast beef, and chicken. One very convenient feature of this restaurant is the Fixin's Bar, where you can place on your sandwich any and all the toppings and condiments you want, so there's no need to request toppings or condiments as you place your order. Every food I have ordered, except the grilled chicken sandwich, tasted great, and the fries and buttermilk biscuits that the food came with taste great, too. The breakfast menu is divided into breakfast platters and sandwiches, and all the sandwiches except the buttermilk chicken biscuit sandwich consist of egg and cheese and your choice of sausage, bacon, or ham. The bread can be sourdough bread, biscuit, or croissant. These sandwiches taste great, as well, and so do the breakfast fries that come with them. These are the best breakfast fries...

I am a home visit nurse practitioner in Montgomery county. I run from house to house seeing patients. I stopped at this Roy Rogers and asked at the register for the code to use the restroom but was told I must buy something in order to use it. I explained I am a nurse that works out of my car and asked kindly this one time they allow me to use the restroom. They cashier got on his headset to ask, I am assuming a manager and I was refused to access to the bathroom. I realize this isn't a review about food but I think it's a little ridiculous. I understand why establishments require you to buy something to use a restroom, So there is not abuse of their facilities but I think to not allow a nurse who works out of their car access to the restroom is a...
