Spring break and in my household we are big foodies. Kids picks fridays due to one of my children having a food allergy. Arrive at fridays at 10pm ask for a table of 5. First section we were taken to server states “ I’m done for the night” hostess redirects us. Sit at the table for 15 mins before we are even greeted by anyone. John comes to the table states our server is busy but he will get us drinks. We order drinks. After we order another family of 3 is seated. 15 more mins our drinks arrive. While we were patiently waiting I noticed the family of 3 have been greeted and have also placed their order. Eventually a manager Davon approached our table asking if someone had taken an order. I politely informed Davon of how we arrived before the table of 3 who have now ordered. Davon apologized and ensured us he would wait on us his self. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger well done no tomato as Davin repeated back no tomatoes. My burger arrives with tomato. My partner ordered the Cajun shrimp pasta. 11:15 still no food. Meredith arrives with my son’s order of boneless wings with no fries. After 10 mins I ask her where is he’s fries? Davon returns with order of fries apologies and states the fries should’ve came out with the wings! Duh. Servers then start bringing our food out. Everything but a Cobb salad my youngest daughter ordered. My partner Cajun pasta looked dry and old but she was adding seasoning to attempt to eat it when boom it’s 2 long strings of hair intertwined in her pasta. I Immediately call Davon over. Davon approached the table and states “ the pasta Bland?” I then instructed Davon to look at the hair in the pasta. Davon then becomes apologetic. I say to Davon just bring the check and my daughter salad but I also let Davon know myself as well as my family were not happy ! He returns with no remade pasta but a corrected check and proceeds to walk away. I then approach another server to whom I instructed to go get my family boxes and my salad that’s taken over a hour to arrive at our table. Server just stands there. John who delivered the drinks to the table then approached to which I instructed him to do the same. John finally returned with the Cobb salad. I asked John how a salad took longer than every other item we ordered and also added the hair in my partner pasta to in which he replies “ I don’t care , I don’t know I’m bout to get off”. I then tell John get 4 to go boxes. He returns with boxes and states is it anything else I can do? I then state to John that my children insisted on Fridays or we would never had came I also add we love to eat and I easily spend over 100$ on food outings and the hair was just unacceptable. John again states “he’s about to be off” I respond letting John know as a customer it’s rubbing me the wrong way with his response being “I’m bout to be off”. I inform John that I will write a review posting him by name. John then laughs again where I proceed to tell John to remove himself from the table with my children and have a great night. Davon sends Meredith with a corrected check. Davon by any means is my complaint about. Friday as a restaurant should equip Davon with proper cooks as well as staff so he can do his job. Davon was literally our cook our server the manager. Sad service waste of money and my family will not go back! Amazing how a name restaurant can completely go to shambles in less then a year. I was just here in October and our service was great. Horrible...
Read moreAbout 3 yrs ago we were seated after a wait for a table. We then sat at the table for 30 minutes and we never were waited on even for a drink order. We asked another server if anyone was coming over and were told your not my area. We left. So we figured we’d give them another try as it might have been a off day we used to like Friday’s. This was a very big mistake. We waited 15 min. For a table no big deal. We sat down and it took quite bit for the server to come over to the table. The people seated behind us no sooner asked for a manager to complain. We were a little concerned. But, Even more so when this server went up to the next table and started complaining to the people seated on the other side of us about being delayed over the difficult customer who held her up. These people weren’t too pleased either. It’s very rude to complain about customers to other customers who are waiting and annoyed because your not waiting on them! especially when the server wasn’t even involved with the as she put it “ complicated customer” that your complaining about and manager was dealing with it. So, 50 minutes of waiting at the table after ordering they bring out 2 plates of food and not mine. My family is now eating and I’m sitting waiting for my food! several minutes go by and I finally get the servers attention. She’s going to finally check on the order! About another 10 minutes go by and they finally bring my food out! Now my family is almost done eating at this point! And it’s the wrong order and their is shrimp on my dish and I am severely allergic. Before the plate was completely down on the table the steam hit my face and I was already grabbing my throat. I covered my face and I said I’m allergic get that off the table. Does she remove it? No she stands there. I jump up from the table and she’s still standing there doing nothing. My husband then asks them to remove the plate. There’s no apology she then walks the plate right past me instead of going to opposite way and she says I guess you don’t want this! Now I know they have no clue to my allergy and place no blame for that mistake. But, When you just stand there or make no attempt to be concerned for another person!! It’s just ignorant. I left I just had enough at this point. The manager came over and refused to comp our dinner only my meal for my husband after I went to the car and my husband brought out my dish wrapped up. I refuse to eat it because I believe they only took the shrimp off and didn’t make a new one because it was out of the kitchen in a matter of minutes after this all happened.and that is just so wrong as that could kill me ad I have a very severe anaphylactic reaction to it. But, I found it extremely hard to believe they made another one in that short of time. Now, Going out to dinner is a treat for us! we have young kids and don’t do this often. I believe your paying for the experience! This was the worst experience I have ever had! Over 2 hours for absolutely nothing and paid 30.00+ for this awful experience and worst service I have ever seen in my entire life! we would never walk out of a restaurant without paying. However these people are so beyond ignorant, and lazy! It’s not with a penny of...
Read moreWhere do I even start... Not only did they manage to screw my order up not once but twice! I'll keep the story short and get to the main point.
The first time the host managed to screw up my order over the phone, I ordered 3 items but she only put in the system two. I even confirmed with her many times on the phone that it was 3 items, however when I got there I only saw 2. Also, when I was picking up my food I was one of the first customers to arrive. She gave me my food and continued running around every where else besides helping me. I had my credit card ready and was going to ask what happened to my order, but she decided to help all the customers who arrived after me so I was there for about half an hour just to pick up an carry out order which is ridiculous.
The second time, it was the asian host. I called around 6:30, and arrived at 7:00 because they said it would take about 25 minutes to make. when I got there, they said the food wasn't ready which I thought was kind of odd but I had no problem and continued to wait till 7:30. At 7:30 I went back in and she still tells me my food still isn't ready after an hour. When I first arrived, I did confirm with her my name and what I ordered. After waiting for a while, another worker came to ask if I needed help. I told her I was here to pick up an order and told her my name and order again, and she's like oh your order is right here. It was in the carry out section this entire time. It had been ready, I don't even know how the asian host managed to screw that up. The order was literally sitting there the entire time, and she told me its not ready. They had written down a different name on the ticket because of miscommunication on the phone which I can totally understand, but the fact I even told the asian host my order and that was what was CLEARLY listed on the ticket, all she had to do was ask if that was my order. What makes me the most furious is that I heard the asian host talking to her coworkers saying I purposely came in with a different name. Yes, I purposely said one name on the phone and decided to say a another name so I could wait for my food?? That doesn't make any sense at all. To say there was miscommunication like the other worker who helped me is correct, but to accuse me to purposely say a different name is outrageous. The manager eventually came over and see what all the issue was about, towards the end the manager was the one who took my credit card and charged me. The funny thing is, the manager had the AUDACITY to ask for tip fully knowing the situation. I cannot believe he really asked for tip considering what I had to go through again.
The only reason I come here is for the ribs, which is the only thing TGIF has going for them. Their customer service is terrible and they really need to get...
