The Brass Tap — Restaurant in Maryland

Ok erm... yeah i did eat here and it was pretty food. I am a big fan of the chopsteak slamburger here it works pretty well with my IBS. Nasty nasty medical condition... i DO NOT recommend it... I also got a salad and Sweat JESUS this salad was good! It was pretty much filled to the brim with romaine lettice and other lettuce sorry im not a lettuce contisewer so I don't really know what to call the rest of the rigamaroll. As for the atmosphere, it was pretty comfortable. I really enjoyed the blankets that the server gives you if you tell them - look at me being POLITICALLY CORRECT! If you tell them the secret password. I was a little skeptical about whether it would work but ALAS, it does. the blambet was nice because it was pretty cold in this restaurant. )no I will not share the password(. I'm hoping that another The Brass Tap will open nearer to me I am not native to this place

for dessert I got the Flan. A lot of people don't like flan but lemmetellya. I'm in the area for business and stopped by The Brass Tap for lunch on a Wednesday looking for something somewhat low calorie and I found success!!

I ordered the Blackened Cod Tacos and requested one on a corn tortilla and the other on a flour tortilla.. Despite the wide variety of beer and spirits available, I opted for ice water.. Did I mention I was in the area for business??

Anywho, the tacos and accompanying chips and salsa were delivered rather quickly and I was delightfully surprised that this entrée selection fit my low calorie requirement quite perfectly..

The tacos were topped with diced tomatoes, slaw, Cojita cheese, onions, cilantro, and fresh jalapeño slices.. The blackened cod was amply portioned in each taco and it combined with the fresh toppings made for a rather tasty, light lunch.. 10 out of 10 recommend if fish tacos are in your wheelhouse..

A fellow down the bar ordered a small pepperoni pizza (no picture) and it looked decadent, too..

Service was great and they offer a generous military discount, too.. I would definitely revisit The Brass Tap on a future visit!!

was denied sale of alcohol due to a vertical ID. i have a valid florida drivers license that does not expire until december 2027. i am 22 years old and of legal age to purchase alcohol. i was told its “against the law to serve alcohol to someone with a vertical ID in the state of maryland.” which when i was told this i just brushed off, i’ve lived here for a month or two but only temporarily, hence me keeping my florida license. after doing some research i learned that that is not true. i figure it’s because in maryland licenses expire on or very near to the persons 21st birthday. again, ive had my current license since i was 17 and it will expire after having it for 8 years. so in short, i was denied alcohol with my perfectly legal and valid ID due to the fact that it wasn’t horizontal…not only that but i can’t renew it before a year and a half of expiration. so im not even that big of a drinker but wont be coming back due to management telling their employees to lie to customers. i get trying to cover your bases with underage sales but if i had a fake ID why in the world would it...
