I was there tonight, 7/12/25, with my husband and kids. The food was pretty good and overall a decent experience. However I felt like the service could have been better. I was a little down tonight and my demeanor was overall sad to be honest. I will admit that I probably didnât have the most pleasant look on my face, however, I was not rude to the server. I said please and thank you, asked for things politely. I just wasnât overly friendly like people seem to be when eating out. I noticed he became very short with me throughout the evening. When taking my order, he had to ask me to repeat what I wanted and then read it back to me. He seemed irritated for having to ask, I donât think he could hear me over the noise in the restaurant. He took my husbandâs order and the same thing happened. He had to ask him to repeat it and read it back to him, although I noticed he seemed more patient with him than he had been with me. At one point he offered my husband a refill, which wouldâve been his third refill. I asked if he could refill my drink too. It was a little less than halfway gone, but had started to water down because it was still my first glass. He agreed to refill it, but I could tell he didnât want to. When it was time for the check, he brought the bill to my husband. Iâm used to this, most servers tend to do this. However, I was the one paying the bill. When he came back, he collected the check and card from my side of the table. Typically when servers see my name on the card, they bring the check and card back to me to sign. But he brought it back to my husband. Again, not a big deal. It was the way he did it that caught me off guard. It was like he intentionally tried not to face me, turning his back towards me once he reached the table. He hadnât done that at any other point. He then said thank you to my husband and wished him a good night (thank you sir, you have a good night) and walked away. I normally donât take time to write reviews, but I felt a little slighted by the situation and honestly it bothered me. I am not going to share his name because I am not trying to get anyone in trouble. I just felt the need to say something. I know working in the service industry is hard, Iâm in the hospitality industry as well. I know it can be difficult working with customers. But I would encourage people to remember that people, customers, can be dealing with a plethora of things. And if someone doesnât have the most pleasant demeanor, it is important not to take it personal. Especially if that person hasnât been rude to you, maybe just isnât smiling and joking like other customers may be doing. I left him a decent tip anyway, 18%, realizing that he may have perceived my sadness as anger or attitude. Anyway I posted this kind of hoping someone from the management team would see it and be able to share it with the service staff. Thanks for reading if you...
Read moreMy fiancĂ©e had made reservations for dinner, upon arrival we were greeted by the hostess whose attitude was very rude. We didnât wait that long due to the reservations. We were seated, and a server greeted us immediately. We had two different servers, the first one was a kind gentleman, who didnât rush me and my fiancĂ©e whatsoever. He offered help with the menu if we had any questions.
When we were ready to order, we were greeted with a new server. Her attitude was horrible, she was not attentive whatsoever, she was acting as if we were a burden or a chore to her. We placed our appetizers, and our courses. The appetizers came out spectacular, we ordered the pretzel bites and cheese. They were warm; and the cheese was fantastic. When our main courses came out, (my fiancée got the club sandwich and I got the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken.) My pasta came out dry, and the pasta was obviously well cooked. The noodles tasted very chewy and bitter, there was also little to no chicken. I politely asked the manager, Oscar I believe his name was if I could receive a recook. His assistance and helpfulness was very appreciated. Once my new pasta came out it was much better.
Later on, the server doesnât check up on us once. When she finally does, she has bags and boxes for us in her hands. She didnât even offer dessert or anything else. We kindly asked her for cheesecake for here, she asks us constantly âfor here not to go?â As if she was rushing us out. Once we told her which ones weâd like, she told us that the WHOLE cheesecake has to defrost?? It was a plain cheesecake with strawberries. After she told us that, we were fed up and wanted to leave. She handed us the check and the cheesecakes to go. I looked at the cheesecake inside of the box and it was ready to eat, it didnât need to defrost whatsoever. The cake itself was soft and so was the strawberries. She takes an extra 15 mins to grab the bill and when she does she completely snatches it off the table and doesnât say anything.
After being given the recipe and card back, she doesnât say anything. Not even a âhave a good nightâ or anything. I spoke with the manager Oscar again before leaving to inform him of the experience we had. While I was talking to him, there were multiple servers watching me through the kitchen glass and staring. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome at this point.
To top it off, when we were leaving, our server was sitting outside braiding another employeeâs hair.. I mean come on. This experience was by far the worst. For the âtop tierâ hospitality, it...
Read moreUpon entry mid day 12:20 p.m., there was no one at the host station to greet or seat us. When an employee came by I greeted him with my beautiful smile and inquired about a host to attend to us and he responded with his snarled up disposition " that's me but I'm busy getting something I'll be with you". (My sister wanted to know why he was so nasty?? ) Not sure I cheerfully greeted him and asked about a host.đ
We waited an extra 15min to be seated in the back right next to the kitchen entry hall. 30min to recieve 5pieces of pot stickers for $15 (appetizer 1) another 20 min for the hamburger spring rolls(appetizer 2) Although both appetizers were ordered at the same time.
20min to recieve the wrong lemonade that I was told was available, yet found out that the new bartender isn't able to make or mix peach lemonade (apparently the waiter or bartender wasn't aware of what's available to drink??)
Two of the SAME EXACT entrees were ordered. First entree took 23min to arrive and second entree 15min later. Soooo as I dined on my entree, my sis had to watch me eat perplexed why only one meal came out of the SAME EXACT ORDER?? (The waiter stated he didn't understand the requested order- he did apologize) How he didn't understand is a neurological dilemma.
Neither the waiter or subsequent employees were able to clarify cheesecake factory membership and its perks. We almost didn't get our free slice of cheesecake among the 4 we ordered for dessert. We were charged for all 4 and had to make sure to have it adjusted. As well as having to make sure we had all 4 cheesecake slices (waited 20min for the 4th slice)
The waiter was nice but definitely flustered.
When I get home to enjoy my cheesecake only HALF of the cheesecake was there..the rest missing and of course I didn't know because it was covered in whip creme all over playing hide and seek (it was only my desire to not have elevated blood sugar that prompted me to remove allllll the whip cream and that's how I discovered only HALF a cheesecake- I pray no one ate it before me!)
3days later I see on my CC statement that I was overcharged by $10 for my meal although I didn't sign a recipet for $10 over đ(hmmm). Bill was $122+ and although the waiter didn't recieve 18-22% suggested gratitudity.. still gave 15% in cash and cc.
This is my reasoning for 2 stars. This wasn't...
